How to unlock the Just Awesome achievement in Rocksmith - Definitive Guide

Go With the Flow is by far the easiest song to get this on. It's just the same power chords over and over again, with a slight variation during the choruses. The only issue is your picking hand getting tired, but it's not too bad.

Anyone have other song suggestions? For some reason my game will stop registering notes for a second or two on this, and something else with single notes, even if it's harder, might be better for me. Problem is I don't even know which songs HAVE 750 notes... I've hit 99-100% on many songs but came no where close to 750, maybe 700 or 500 or so... any ideas?

Man I perfected this song a bunch of times in master mode, and the achievement never popped. I see this solution, and play Go With the Flow once without master mode on, and I got it easily. I was trying to get this achievement with Freebird lol.

Interpol's Slow Hands gave me this cheevo. It's at least more fun to play than Go with the flow.

Go With The Flow is the best choice due to only have 4 different power chord positions. I don't want to take glory from the other solutions, just add my video so you can visually see how to do this.

Play Go With The Flow, it's by far the easiest. It has 4 power chord patterns, which are simply repeated in a constant rhythm.

For those who do not play guitar musically, and just play the game, the patterns can be played a number of ways. The pattern shown is

E open A 3 E5
A 2 D 5 A7

Then the chorus is

E open A 3 A 5
A 2 D 5 D7

But if these don't work, you can play it all on the E and A strings.

E open E 8 E5
A 2 A 10 A 7

And chorus

E open E8 E10
A 2 A10 A12

Despite this being large shifts, I found this much easier to register and keep up the strumming.

Go with the Flow is best. If you don't want to get your hand too tired strum up and down. I was able to get it just by strumming up and down instead of all down strokes. I got the achievement once the song was completed.

Practice, practice, practice. You need pick a song you are familiar with and practice it until you get 750 note streak. There really isn't much advice that can be given about this - it's very skill-oriented.

The easiest song to perform this on is Queen of the Stone Age's "Go With the Flow." You may need to practice this a few times, but this is the easiest song to get the note streak due to the very few chords and the insane number of notes.

Not the most trivial trophy. In order for a song to have more than 750 notes, the difficulty level must already be high enough that you need to play 750 notes in a row.

To get the trophy, I recommend trying the following songs:

  • Go With the Flow by Queens from the Stone Age
  • Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand

It's actually not that complicated! Choose the song Go With the Flow (combo), there are only about 4 chords, the rhythm can be difficult, since it is quite fast, but after playing it a couple of times, everything will work out. I easily typed 900+ notes myself.
