How to unlock the OK, I Learned achievement in Rocksmith - Definitive Guide

I would definitely recommend doing Song 2 in Single Note mode for this. There are only 2 simple phrases you need to get down, and one of them is just the same note repeating. To unlock Master Mode, you need to Master each section of the song then play it and earn at least 100,000 points. You can do this in the Riff Repeater. Once it is Mastered, play the song and choose Master Mode. This will make you play it with no notes on the screen. This song is very easy to memorize so you should have no problem.

"Go With the Flow" is a good choice if you're a guitar player in real life, also. There are tons of power chords arranged in very easy phrases. I got this achievement along with 500 & 750 note streaks.

Wow. Song 2 in single note has only 6 notes to memorize. A brand new guitar player could get this achievement with this arrangement. Cheers! *thumbs up*

I've unlocked master mode for Song 2 single note but whenever I play it on master mode I only get like 22% of the notes for some reason, what I am doing wrong? I'm doing it in exactly the same way I did the original one (frets 8,6,11,15 on A string, fret 12 on G string)

The only problems I could think of is either your timing of the notes or your guitar being out of tune. Also you may be accidentally bending notes depending on how you finger the strings and the game measures pitch so it can't tell where your fingers are. Play it a few times in regular mode until you can do it without looking at the screen, then try again in Master Mode and you should be able to pull it off.

I noticed the same problem with barre chords, that even I thought I played them right it shows they were not correct. I found that I didn't hit all the strings required. So I start to strum little more and that fixed it. :)

Honestly, I did Go With The Flow, by Queens of the Stone Age. If you did the Chord arrangement (can't remember off the top of my head if it's chord or combo; in other words, not the single note), it's 4 chords the whole song. I accomplished this the first time it was offered in master mode.

Also this. I went completely deer in the headlights when it started Master (despite two consecutive back-to-back playings immediately theretofore)
Hacked my way through with
16 strums of E: Open/A: 2
8 strums of A: 3/D: 5
8 strums of A: 5/D: 7

It certainly wasn't perfect, but it earned me 82% accuracy and 182k points. More a tip for anyone who got nervous or has had brain cells killed by many beer, as I, uh....have.

Practice makes perfect and you need at least 4 songs mastered (100k score plus 100% in riff leveler) to play a master setlist for that achievement, so get practicing :)

Easiest for me were:

Go With The Flow by Queens of the Stone Age (Combo)
Breed by Nirvana (Combo)
In Bloom by Nirvana (Combo)
Outshined by Soundgarden (Combo)
Song 2 by Blur (Combo)
Satisfaction by Rolling Stones (Chord)
Run Back To Your Side by Eric Clapton (Chord)

Single notes may be easier but I prefer to learn the actual song over strumming single notes. Make sure you practice these songs and it will come in time :)

Not trying to rain on your guide but I think by "Go With The Flow by Nirvana (Combo)" you mean "In Bloom by Nirvana". Not criticizing just trying to clear things up and avoid confusion.

actually, to play 1 master song, you dont need master setlist unlocked, just 100,000 on the song you want to do, then you can play the song in the master mode

To unlock the Master Mode version of a song, you must score over 100,000 points and achieve the highest level for every phrase in the song. Use the song leveler if you don't have any phrases maxed. "Song" 2 and "Go With The Flow" are both fairly easy songs to master and memorize.

Once mastered, you will have to play the song in Master Mode. You can access the song from the Song menu and there will be an option to play in Master Mode in the arrangement you have mastered. Master Mode is different from regular mode in that you do not see the notes. You must play this from memory.

If you have a difficult time remembering a song, I highly suggest you try to sync it up with a YouTube version of the song played at its highest level. I achieved this by starting the YouTube video and pausing it on the third metronome click. Then start the game and on the third click, I hit play on YouTube and play along with that note highway.

"Go With the Flow" or "Breed" are very easy songs to memorize and master. Once you can play songs on Master, this score will no longer be an issue.

Master Mode is a song performance mode when you play it from memory, i.e. The game doesn't show you the notes. To enable this mode on a specific song, you need to collect more than 100,000 RSP during its performance and raise all guitar phrases to 100% of the notes of the performance (to practice phrases at 100%, it is convenient to use the Riff Repeater mode). To win the trophy, you need to score 200,000 RSP, and when performing a song in Master Mode, the points are doubled.

For more detailed information on the mode and recommended songs, see the tips for the Stage Ready and Rocksmith trophies.
