How to unlock the Singles Rock achievement in Rocksmith - Definitive Guide

The Black Keys - Next Girl is probably one of the easiest songs to do this with. By the second time you play it all the notes should be unlocked. If you miss any notes within the first minute, restart the song over and try again. I missed three or four notes towards the end of the song and scored 105k so there is some room for error. Hitting the notes at the right time gives you more points as well as holding your sustains as long as you can.

My Advice for this chievo : Do You Remember - Great if you're confortable with tremolo picking. The track is super simple and the more you strum, the more you'll score, it's easy to get a confortable ~150K after one or two tries.

I want to scream at you for taking a break to have a beverage. :) Excellent job there!!! I'm gonna have to try that one now! My Bro can't do tremolo like that, but I can! Mwua Ha Ha, thanks.

The song I found to be easiest is Slow Hands by Interpol. Aside from the bridge, it is just a 16th note progression. Play it until you unlock the final stage of the song and continue playing it over and over until you get it down. You dont have to worry about the bridge on the orange string. I had lots of trouble with that part and I still got well over 100k when I finished the song.

I found Next Girl by The Black Keys to be really simple as well.

I'm pretty sure it is actually possible for any song, considering you have to get 100,000 points to unlock mastery mode.

This requires you to reach 100k points in a single note arrangement. There are a ton of songs that have single note arrangements, but I found "Do You Remember" to be the easiest to score well over 100k. It does have some tremolo picking, a couple slides, and a few bends but overall it's extremely easy. Another easy single note arrangement is "Song 2."

If you play a song for the first time, you will not have all the notes unlocked until you level up each section so you may need to play a song a few times before you have enough notes to reach 100k points.

If you find ar song you score well on while going through the Journey, then by all means use that. If not, most people find the easiest on-disc songs to attempt this on are "Go With the Flow" by Queens of the Stone Age, "Breed" by Nirvana, or "Song 2" by Blur. If you don't get it right away, keep trying - practice makes perfect (or at least close enough to perfection for the achievement)!

The most difficult of the record trophies. Songs worth trying to get this trophy:

  • Song 2 by Blur
  • Slow Hands by Interpol (even without taking into account the mistakes on the difficult transition on the orange string)
  • Next Girl by The Black Keys
Of course, in life you just need to play and improve your skill, then it won’t be difficult to score the required amount of points on any song.
