How to unlock the Stage Ready achievement in Rocksmith - Definitive Guide

To play in a master event, every song in the event needs to be available for master mode.

A song arrangement becomes eligible for master mode, when you score higher than 100,000, and you have 100% mastery on every part. You may use the riff repeater's leveler, to reach mastery quicker. The riff repeater also shows you how much you have mastered each section

In the event manager, you can replace songs, with songs you have already mastered. This achievement is best done early in the game, when the events require less songs.

This achievement pops up at the end of a master event.

which songs would you recommend for doing a master event?

I would say some easy ones would be "I can't get no satisfaction", and "Next Girl". The Queens of the Stone Age song (I think it is called Go With the Flow) is also pretty easy, because it is basically the same thing the entire song.

Thanks! Also, how do I know if I have mastered every section? Will there be a pop up that tells me?

in the Riff Repeater, there is a bar that shows you how much you have mastered a section. The fuller the bar is, the closer it is to being mastered. The leveler also shows you the exact percentage of the sections mastery.

I've got my event full of songs I mastered but when I start it I get a note highway, so, I don't think it made it a master event. Is there something else I need to do? I even re-added the songs to make sure they had the purple bar that shows it's mastered.

Also, The easy ones I picked was "Angela" by Jarvis Cocker, "Go with the flow" by Queens of the Stone Age, "Next Girl" by the Black Keys, and "Song 2" by Blur - all of those are really easy to memorize and to "master" In case anyone wants an idea.

It should do it itself if all the song arrangements are mastered.

I actually had this problem once, and basically all I did was switch a few of the songs out for others. I don't exactly know what causes it not to go into master mode.

One of the songs "Angela" was already in the set before I customized it and it wasn't mastered at the time... now that I'm on a new event I'll try it again and see if it works.

Yep, it works now. I'm guessing that one song is what did it.

I performed a master event last night and didn't get the achievement. Any chance it could be glitched?

I have the same issue. I have played 3 or four events master, but no achievement.

Definitely sounds like it could be a glitch. Did you play through and complete the event? If it creates a new setlist for you, then you completed the event and should get the achievement. if you still have the same setlist after the event is finished, then you didn't score well enough for the event to pass.

(I tested this by idling through an event, not sure if it is still the same after the patch, but I suppose it would be.)

so you not only have to have every event avail as master mode, but have to score high enough for it to register as a master event as well?

Once you unlock the master event, you have to play well enough for the event to complete ( I think, because it is the only thing that I can think of that would explain no achievement pop. )

You should definitely know when you are playing a master event, because there will be no interface when you are playing the game and it will specifically tell you that you are playing in master mode.

So, after spending what felt like forever trying to get this I finally got it. I can confirm the issue was being qualified. When you changed your set list to master mode it will say qualified or 150k to qualify. I played the same set list twice in a row and the first time song 2 needed the 150k and no achievement. The second time I changed the set list to the exact same songs and this time both were qualified and none need the 150k qualification. I played the set list and it popped just before the encore. Hope this helps to those of you thinking it was glitched.

Carlos, the glitch happened to me too, I wrote a guide how to bypass the glitch, even if I did a 100% on the 2 songs in master mode, the achievement wouldn't appear, the glitch is that the qualify for a master song is 150,000, but most of the time, 1 of the song will say qualify even if it doesnt meet the 150,000 requirement... it'll will let you play the master event... but still... will not award the achievement, just make sure every song have already 150,000 score, even if it say it is qualified.

Same, is probably glitched. I will not spend time on it again :|
The game is nice but it gets really boring after a while.

Seems to me like you have to make it to the encore. Just got the achievement on level 9, played Angela, Where is my mind and Song 2. On the first try no encore, no achievement. Made it to the encore on the second try and there it is :)

Worked for me with What's My Age Again, Go With The Flow, and Run Back To Your Side. All Mastered of course.

I also needed 150k points in couple of songs to be able to unlock a master event. Best way to reach that kind of points I found was to play the song (after learning it) in master mode. The game gives 200k+ points even with a half decent performance. I first thought of shooting a video to give visual hints but ended up not needing one.

Practice makes perfect and you need at least 4 songs mastered (100k score plus 100% in riff leveler) to play a master setlist for that achievement, so get practicing :)

Easiest for me were:

Go With The Flow by Queens of the Stone Age (Combo)
Breed by Nirvana (Combo)
Outshined by Soundgarden (Combo)
Song 2 by Blur (Combo)
Satisfaction by Rolling Stones (Chord)
Run Back To Your Side by Eric Clapton (Chord)

Single notes may be easier but I prefer to learn the actual song over strumming single notes. Make sure you practice these songs and it will come in time :)

You don't need to play four songs I did it on the very first setlist with go with the flow and song 2
I just started a new save file on a different storage device

As previously stated, you do not need to master four songs; the miminum number of songs that the venue requires is enough. These are all great choices for an easy time, though!

I can confirm that this achievement will unlock with three songs and maybe less as long as all three songs are mastered

To play a Master Event, you must add four arrangements to the event set list that you have mastered. You can customize any set list for any event by hitting from the Journey screen. Remove all but four songs, then replace the four songs with arrangements that you have mastered. Remember, to have qualified a song to be mastered, you must have scored over 100k points and have each phrase leveled to the max.

This is also the fastest way to reach the rank of Rocksmith, and if you get good at one of these four song sets, the best way to unlock Encores and Double Encores.

Similarly to Ok, I Learned, try to sync up a YouTube video if you have failed to remember the song note for note.

Some songs that many consider easier are:

20th Century Boy - combo
Do You Remember - single note
Go With The Flow - combo
Next Girl - single note
Run back to your side - chord
Song 2 - both arrangements

This is unlocked after completing a Master Event, not just one Master Mode song. You have to have every song in you current setlist eligible for Master Mode, start the event, finish it and this should be yours.

A song is eligible for Master mode once every phrase is at 100% and you score 100,000+. An easy way to level phrases in a song is to use the Leveler in the Riff Repeater. Practice each phrase until you reach its highest level.

Note:
You can change what songs are in your current setlist when you go to continue journey go left on the menu (somewhat hidden) to the Event Manager.

Playing a song in Master mode gives more points, but the notes are not shown, i.e. the song is performed from memory. To earn a trophy you need to go through an event in which all songs will be performed in Master mode.

To launch the Master Event, you must select songs with a Master Badge (i.e., during their performance, more than 100,000 RSP were collected at least once and all phrases of the song were raised to 100% of the performance notes). Accordingly, at a certain stage of the passage, it makes sense to select 4-8 songs and train them properly (for more details, also see the tip for the Rocksmith trophy). For training, it is convenient to use the Riff Repeater->Leveler mode.

It makes sense to get this trophy early, while there are not too many songs in the events. Also, sometimes the Master mode may not start - check if all songs in the desired performance modes have a Master Badge and reselect songs for the event.

There are opinions that the trophy is either glitchy or depends on some additional not entirely obvious parameters (the encore song, etc.). I got the trophy from the second time I completed the event on the master.

Songs that are quite easy to learn:

20th Century Boy - combo
Do You Remember - single note
Go With The Flow - combo
Next Girl - single note
Run back to your side - chord
Song 2 - both arrangements

You can change any event from the main menu of the game. If there are more than 4 songs, delete the unnecessary ones, and replace the rest with those in which you have the mod master open.

Personally, I had a set of 4 songs:

Breed – single

Go With The Flow - combo

Next Girl - single note

Song 2 - combo

I got the trophy the first time, hitting 850,000 RSP. If you have difficulty remembering a song, you can resort to a not-so-nice trick by playing the song on YouTube)
