First you must play a little to unlock custom tones, which can be done by scoring over 70,000 points on one song . Then hit X in the main menu to go to the amp section. Select any tone slot, add a pedal, and save changes. Boom, achievement

Press to access the amp mode from any menu page. From here, select a Tone Slot then customize tone. Add a pedal or anything else you wish and when you back out with it will ask you to save changes. Doing this will unlock this trophy.

Go to the amp section (hit  in the main menu), click on a tone, set a pedal and amp, hit save, and this achievement is yours.
