Boss Fight Strategy: Deviler x4

You will only have Jaster and Kisala for this battle. This fight is much more annoying at the beginning because there are four opponents, but as their numbers begin to dwindle, it becomes much more manageable. Activate Jaster’s Flash Sword to increase his damage output, or shoot his gun from a safe distance. When a Deviler begins to to circle around the deck, begin to block, otherwise it will ram right into you, causing heavy damage. Make sure to use Heal Potions when your characters’ HP gets low and you should survive this battle.

Boss Fight Strategy: Mud Whooper

Kisala will be removed from the party for this battle, and will be replaced with Lilika. The Mud Whooper is especially dangerous at close range when your characters are in the water. Its lightning attack will cause major damage to all characters in its range. Your two other characters will most likely spend much of the battle downed. Make sure to always keep your distance to protect yourself from its lightning attack. Attacking it with Jaster’s gun is a safe bet, as is stepping on dry land and letting the Mud Whooper come to you, because its lightning attack only affects those that are in the water. The Mud Whooper is weak to fire, so imbue Zegram’s sword with fire using his Fire Sword ability to increase his damage output. Be sure to also use Jaster’s Flash Sword or Illusion Sword ability if you have learned it, as well as Zegram’s Drunken Burst ability if you have learned it. Chances are you will be using a lot of Heal Potions and Resurrections in this battle.
