How to unlock the Looks Familiar achievement in Rogue Legacy 2 - Definitive Guide
Im new to setting up guides for achievements but basically BUY ALL UPGRADES you know its a new upgrade if construction noise plays. Be sure to play as heirs with gold bonuses and save up dat gold. Some upgrades require unlocking with a currency earned killing bosses and talking to npcs. I believe there's no wrong or right way to upgrade your tower so experiment. Good luck

The following Soul Shop upgrades unlock Manor upgrades:
Unbreakable Will: Institute of Gastronomy, Massive Vault (do this one first)
Infinite Knowledge: Buried Tomb, Adoption Center
Absolute Strength: Jeweler
Master Smith: The Bizarre Bazaar
Get souls by doing Scars of Erebus challenges with different classes and by defeating bosses. I'm only on my second NG+ but from what I've seen, rushing Unbreakable Will and Master Smith is great as it increases your gold multipliers. You might need to improve the Living Safe as you go, since it saves some of the money you give Charon, up to an increasable ceiling.
From what I understand, you get more gold the more advanced the area, which increases with NG+ so:
Zone 1 (Castle) -> 2 (Axis Mundi) -> 3 (Kerguelen Plateau) -> 4 (Stygian Study) -> 5 (Sun Tower) -> 6 (Pishon Dry Lake) -> Castle in NG+ -> Axis Mundi in NG+ and so on.
Edit: Make sure you talk to everyone who has a word balloon with ellipses over their head. This will help you get the Full House achievement and should also award you a nice amount of souls if you do it enough times.
