How to unlock the Barophobia achievement in Rogue Legacy - Definitive Guide
The "special class" refers to the dragon class which is unlock on the top right of the tower. To unlock it you need to purchase skills to the right and than upward in the castle. The Special class is at the very top in front of a flag with the description referring to it as "half-man half-******" and costs a little over 5000 gold. After purchasing this skill you just need to pick a child after death that is the dragon class.
Edit: Thanks to RadicalSniper99 for mentioning that the dragon class upgrade is off screen on the very top and is only visible by moving the cursor upward to it.

Good guide, but you might want to mention that the dragon class purchase is not visible on the screen and thus slightly hidden from view. Looks good otherwise to me.

To unlock the special class, you must first purchase it in the Manor. This is the "path" you need to take in order to make it available for purchase:
Smithy -> Health Up -> Upgrade Knight -> Equip Up -> Enchantress -> Upgrade Mage -> Unlock Miner -> Upgrade Knave -> Potion Up -> Unlock Spell Thief -> Upgrade Spell Thief -> Invuln. Time Up -> Beastiality
Then simply select a character from this class once it comes up while picking your heir.

In order to unlock the special class, the Dragon, you need to purchase the Beastiality skill from the Manor. This skill is off-screen, on a flag on top of the manor. You have to scroll up to actually find and purchase it. Once you have unlocked the skill, there will be a chance that the Dragon class will appear as a class choice after each subsequent death. Once you have chosen the Dragon the trophy will unlock.
You unlock the Dragon from the Manor in this order: Smithy, Health Up, Paladin, Equip Up, Enchantress, Archmage, Miner, Assassin, Potion Up, Spellthief, Spellsword, Invul Time Up then Beastiality.
The special class is the Half Dragon class, and it is unlocked on the very top right corner of the Manor. To reach it, you'll need to buy all the upgrades available (at least one point in all of the tiered ones) on the right side of the Manor. The skills will go all the way to the top of the screen, and to see this one you'll need to scroll up off-screen. This one was pretty expensive - around 5300 gold - for me, so you'll need to explore a bunch and save up to afford it.
Once you unlock it, you'll need to die and hope that one of your hero options is a Dragon class. Choose it when one becomes available, and this achievement will unlock immediately.
