Rogue Trooper Redux

Ok this seemed tricky at first, but with a bit of practise, isn’t too bad.

I was eventually able to regularly do epicentre on progressive (the default first map) in just 2 mins 30.

Ok, so from the start go down the hill and throw a grenade at the 4 troops in the tunnel then just run and gun them. Ignore all the enemies to the right and enter the tunnel. Progress through the tunnel and out the other side but retreat to avoid the strafing ship. Back up and shoot the electric floaty things.

Go forward and to the left (ignore the gunners ahead), and throw a grenade at the 3 enemies then shoot em and mop up.

Now ahead and to your right should be some steps. Take these and enter the room, and you can melee (X) the enemy gunner. Pick up the health pack here (you’ll probably have used one already) then shoot the other gunner. At this point I recommend you push down on the d-pad to change to shotgun.

Go up the stairs and shotgun the 2 enemies that come down. Turn right, X to melee the guy in the next room on the gun and out the door.

You are now on the ledge outside - run along (I use A tap to roll as you seem to move faster and this will help you avoid the turret and sniper.

Turn left along the top of the walkway and into the room. Shoot/melee the gunner here and up the stairs. At the door, throw a grenade to the left and a chopper will drop off 4 enemies, who will be killed by the grenade. Walk out and hide behind the boxes on the heli pad and voila, job done!!

You can also then replay this another 4 times to unlock the host 5 games achievement.

I found it much easier to play on valley with the mortar equipped.

Takes a minute to clear our the first two stationary guns then combat roll your way past all the enemies.

At the next and last stationary gun unleash hell with the mortar and grenades, then get back to rolling past everyone else.
