How to unlock the Curb-Stomper achievement in Rogue Warrior - Definitive Guide

Do this on Level 3. Work your way through the container yard. Make sure you pick up an AK-74(AK-47) from one of the dead soldiers on the outside as that seems to work best to down soldiers. As soon as you enter the building you will get a checkpoint. There are 2 soldiers talking around the corner. Walk up to them, look down your iron sights (hold LT) and shoot quick 3-4 bullet bursts into their chest until they die (not what you want) or fall down on their back (this is what you are looking for) As the solider lies on his back and continues to shoot run up to him and you will get a prompt that says "Finishing Move". Hit A and you will do one of 4 or 5 moves while he is laying on the ground. You must be quick as they will only shoot for a few seconds before dying.

At this point hit start and reload your checkpoint and repeat. If you kill both of the 2 guys without downing them, just reload the checkpoint. It will take 20 or so tries to get the 5 finishing moves you need as getting a down instead of a kill seems very random. Just keep at this method and you will the achievement eventually.

I used the pistol that you start with with 3-4 shots to the chest like you said and waited for them to fall down. Beautiful.

TT-33 (non silenced Pistol) works best IMHO it downs the Enemy 30-40% of the Time

This can be a little frustrating, as you must make an enemy fall to the ground without killing them AND you need to get to them before they bleed out. The best way is to shoot them a couple of times in the chest until they fall. The enemy will start firing at you in a "last stand" position. Run up to them and you will be prompted to do a finishing move. Do it five times.

You need tp make an enemy fall to the ground, they will still shoot you in a last stand position. Once you run up to them it will give you the option to do a "finishing move". The best way to drop an enemy into this position is with the ak74 (ak47) fire a few shots into their chest and they should fall.
