How to unlock the Major Embellishment achievement in Roguebook - Definitive Guide

Simply collect pages during the game (on the map or by defeating big enemies/boss) and as a reward for completing the game at Epilogue level (x) with different heroes. Then obviously spend to get the first level of all embellishments.

The real reason for the guide is the following...
Warning: You need the DLC "Fugoro, Merchant of Wonders" to purchase at least 1 Rank of every embellishment (one will be the increase of Fugoro's life).

If you don't own the DLC - Fugoro's name/health bonuses doesn't appear in the Embellishments page so your information is completely false. Therefore you don't need the Fugoro, Merchant of Wonders DLC for this "base game" achievement. However If you purchased the deluxe version or the DLC then obviously his name will appear in it so you can buy his health bonuses there like all of the other characters.

It didn't unlock it for me with the "base game", I had to buy the DLC.... but if now the conditions have changed and you confirm it to me, I will change the indications above (although seems to me you haven't unlocked it yet)

Unfortunately, I can confirm LucaBS1980IT must be correct. I have the base game only with every embellishment purchased and I'm sitting at 96% complete for the ach. Thumbs up from me and thanks for the heads up on this issue!

I can double confirm, I bought the DLC bundle (the two skins packs are essentially free) a couple days ago and the achievement literally popped when I bought Fugoro's first health upgrade.
Fugoro is probably a fun character to play with but that's very bad/lazy programing by the developers. Might of been intentional though but also might be due to the game not selling as well as they had hoped/expected and maybe the patches were kept to a minimum or brought to a halt? In any event this achievement and the one for completing the game with each pair of heroes is affected when they shouldn't be because the DLC is sold separately and shouldn't be affecting base game achievements.
The game is enjoyable so I didn't mind too much buying another playable character but man that is some crooked business and unfair!

Yeah, I can confirm you need to buy the DLC for this and also the one for beating the game with all the different partnerships.

this achievement needs to be moved to under the dlc section since it is not possible to achieve without the dlc pack

I recently unlocked all of the locked icons in the Embellishments page and didn't see Fugoro's health upgrades there so I was assuming that his wouldn't be necessary since they're not even available. I'm sorry to hear that the achievement didn't unlock for you and that you had to buy the DLC in order to get it. That is very crooked programing on the developers part and shouldn't be allowed to do something like that, if anything it's just plain illogical.

Sorry again about the unfortunate issue (looks like I'll be buying the DLC too at some point but I can do without it for now) but no I haven't unlocked the achievement yet and can't confirm that it "will" unlock so no need to alter anything.

To obtain it you need DLC with Fugoro. Considering how long ago this “bug” is, it’s unlikely to be fixed
