You will unlock the shotgun on the 3rd match, fount it easier to get this achievement on the first match via level select and when you shoot the snipers they will take 2 shots and both shots need to be the slug shot.
You can also go for these at same time

Can confirm I unlocked this with the assists on including the easy slug one!!!! That will make this way easier for people.

You unlock the ability to use slug shots when you acquire the shotgun very early on in the game. Use reflex time (LT on xbox controller) with the shotgun equipped and shoot right as the line hits the middle of the enemy. Do this for every kill on a level and the achievement is yours
