How to unlock the Getting to Know You achievement in Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends - Definitive Guide

Play through the main story until you are introduced to the friend mechanic while in the cafe. All you have to do for this achievement is buy coffee for 5 different friends, as one coffee is enough to level up a relationship once. Once you do this with 5 friends, this achievement will pop.

Edit: As others have stated you only start with 4 friends so make sure to continue with the story to unlock an additional to get the achievement.

It'll cost 900 coins (first coffee is free, then 400 coins for 4 more, plus 500 coins to complete the Wi-Fi quest to unlock a fifth friend as only 4 are available at the start)

Coggie is south of the Sushi restaurant on a small pier if you can't find them.

You also need 100 gold for each friend. Once you pay at the cafe, you get to invite 1 friend to talk and raise the friend level by 1.

Progress the story by completing tasks, until we unlock the ability to invite friends to the cafe for coffee, desserts, and feasts. This is how we increase our friendship level. Aside from the first time we do this, inviting friends to the cafe will cost coins. We will start the game with only four friends, but continue to progress the story to unlock more.
