Personally I have found that only 3 soda cans spawn per day so in between buying ingredients and walking around the open world just keep your eyes peeled for the red cans on the floor which you turn in to the recycling bin located close to your restaurant.

Sometimes when you complete order your customers can also throw cans on the floor that can be picked up when they leave your restaurant.

Is this glitched? I recycled 100 in one day and it didn't pop :(

I didn’t have any issues unlocking it so can’t confirm or deny if it is glitchy I’m afraid, if it is hopefully it gets fixed soon, have you checked the in game tracker?

If this is your last achievement just remove all tables and the day will end a few seconds after opening the restaurant

Added tip - that I am sure everybody already figured out but just in case - since the achievement tracker doesn't seem to work for this game, if you go into achievements in the game you can get a count of what you are at

The cans thrown as "trash" in the restaurant don't count btw. I was at zero, got two during a service, then tried to recycle and was still at zero.

Soda cans are found dotted around rolling hills. We can find three of them each day. Walk up to them and pick them up, then take them to the recycle bin outside the restaurant. We can carry multiple cans at a time and even carry them over across days before throwing them in the recycle bin.
