Basically there are two things that you must learn how to do. First learn how to tap fast dont jam the a button hold it a bit and let go it takes practice to get good at but you can do it. Second you must learn when to leave a bar when there is a slow drinker in the lane.
You can knock out two or even three bars while that slow drinker is drinking. Here is my video showing you how.

Well video or not, the only possible way to get this is to practice practice practice. Not like anybody cares or plays this game anymore, which is a shame because its fantastic.

Sometimes it seems like you throw the mug before I even see a guy walking out to the bar.

There is no "solution" to this one per se... just practice practice practice. it is most certainly possible.
The Alien Bar seemed impossible at the beginning, and i would only see it here and there after completing the daunting Punk Bar.
The only real tip i can give is to not worry about empty glasses until they are almost ready to fall off the bar, this saves precious time you can use to hit more customers. If you are running halfway down a bar to get a glass, then you're going to have issues. let the glasses come to you.

Can you do this with easy settings?

No, this must be done on normal difficulty (2) with normal starting lives (3)

Compared to the difficulty jump from the Sports to Punk bars, this will be quite easy. Follow the same techniques I described for the Punk Bar and eventually you will learn their patterns. Sadly, this game is all about memorizing what order to knock the patrons out in.
