This can be done mostly afk by letting the days run out. You just need to submit your daily report and go through and dialog that takes place to get outside. You'll get an alternate ending on day 7 head to the helicopter drop off. Plus doing nothing means you didnt pick up the axe scoring you The Pacifist achievment.
