Let me state this can be done in whatever method you find the most fun. However if you are just looking to get this done quickly this is how I did it. The setup takes quite awhile but than the grind is not bad I got 500K in 1 season. For reference I had the full 1 million Winter 1st Year 2. I would recommend either finishing every crop to Level 5 first or use the Jungle to work on finishing crops and main field for money crops.
The best money method by far in my option is Wine. My end setup was a crop field of 440 tiles all watered with 1 irrigation pump. Each season I choose the most profitable crop and filled the field. After harvest use the waterwheel press to turn it all into Juice (takes a few days don't worry). I than used a max level shed filled with 100 Brewers to start making the Wine. A shed can hold more but I had some Casks as well, which are not really worth it!
Best crops per season:
Spring - Sea Kale
Summer - Pineapple
Fall - Fennel/ Butternut Squash is good if dried
Winter - Broccoli/ Oats might be better if turned to cheese, would require a lot of cheese cloths to be worth it.
To get the most of a crops based setup I would recommended investing time in the mines to get enough resources to upgrade some accessories. The Green Thumb Ring and Green Toe Ring are a must, fully upgraded to Electrum will give a +26 Plant growth (around 20% faster) and +20 Harvest. This makes the best crop Pineapple take 15 days instead of 18 so you can do 2 harvest a season. My 3rd accessory was Gazelle Anklet just to move around the farm faster without a mount.
Animals were a big part of my farm and I regret it. With 80 total boars (8 max barns), you can use a single learning station on 2 barns to auto pet/clean them. I feel any animal is roughly the same, boars are just easy only requiring 2 songs. I would recommend starting a breeding setup early game, as having max stat animals will produce way more than Gen 1. Every week I would harvest the fur and using the waterwheel spin into yarn, this would make around only 30-50K.
I used Fishing a lot early game as high tier fish do sell for a lot if Fermented or even Smoked. You could use the Caves lake and the 2 fishing accessories to get a good amount of money late game, would just be more time consuming. Worth noting when you hit level 3 knowledge with a fish the difficulty is reduced by 1, reduced again by 1 at level 5. So a tier 4 fish goes from a 5 bar catch to a 3 making them really easy and you could make serious money that way.
