Hey everyone, this achievement is incredibly easy.
All you have to do is make it to the beach and you can survive forever.

If you watch that clip, you'll see an easy route you can take to make it to the beach. You'll also see that my record time is 7 mins 11.224 secs and my run in that video to demonstrate the route is 2 mins 11 secs which is 4 times longer than the achievement requirement.
Edit: my best time now is 11min 46.865. I could go for more but I think that's good enough.

I own the world record in this game currently at over and hour. Anyone who beats it I'm coming after you. If you do somehow beat, message me on XBL so I can get you back. Good luck

Note that you can drive over wrenches in this mode to heal yourself. The easiest way to get this achievement is to go out on the road to the southeast of your starting position, then follow it north, going around the curve, then back down the street by the wrench or heading south from the new intersection.
