Only the first Skull is a real threat. The other skulls can be avoided by normal skating. On the first skull you have to pass it on the left side. You have to push your LEFT analog stick to the left, right after the start. And then just skate normally.

This is one of the challenges you have to complete in campaign mode. First of all, get a really good start by using both of your thumbs to press faster. After the start, move your skater away from the center a little because that’s where the first three skull coins will be. Then after that just keep on skating in sync, I found using both thumbs a lot easier than using only one thumb and alternating buttons. Then move into the inside of the ring, but not too far because on the far left of the ring are the rest of the skulls. Then when you get out just keep rhythm in your skating and avoid the middle, that’s where the last skull will be
