This is one of the challenges you have to complete in campaign mode. It shouldn’t be that hard if you already know how to keep rhythm with your skater. You don’t really need use the 
stick to steer because the game does it for you in this challenge. Just keep in perfect rhythm with your skater for a majority of the race and you’ll win. Just like in rhythm stick, your going to want to have 90 percent rhythm. If you do this you will be able to maintain a lead over the opponent and beat them. I was able to win by a little more than two seconds.
