Easy but a little confusing.
Ok to call a play when you have a ruck you will see a choice of four right analog stick movements. up down left right. Choose one at a time. Now you have to wait for the triangle above your players head to turn green or the srt piece will not count.. Just pass the ball either way and it will count you dont have to complete the move

NOTE: When you press the 
, the players will move and the icon above your player's head will start flashing red. Wait for it to stop and turn green before starting the play.

After a ruck press the 
up/down/left/right. Once the red marker turns green press

to start the move. Do one of each direction during a game and this will unlock. You don't need to complete the move, just start it.
