Basically, these guides take too long. Pick a team, such as South Africa, and play the tournament on hard (you can pick up the cheevos for 20 points in the pool etc [i suggest playing 10 minutes halves for this] and once you get to the final put all the forwards in the backs and the backs in the forwards, making sure your team rating is below 60. Start the game, play for a bit, then move everybody back to there normal position. Cheevo popped up for me at the end. ^_^

The guide above is great, however I found a quicker way for you to follow.
1) Increase your chosen teams speed to 99 for every player in yor first choice 15.
2) Edit all the other teams and make sure the opposing players have Speed at 1. (No need to reduce tackling and strength as this works just as well)
3) Run round the other teams players and achievement should pop.

i spent about an hour reducing every players speed to 1 and my team to speed 99 . ran rings around every team and won the achievement with no trouble

OK if you try to do this properly and do it i will bow down to you and call you god...
Quite simply hard is broken. You cant get the ball with an 80 rated team let alone a team below 60..
Ok so i found the edit menu . FANT|STIC. Howerver changing a players stats to zero takes roughly 4 mins per player. And with 15 per team and 20 teams your in for the long hual..
But the important thing to remember is if a player cant catch you they cant tackle you.. so just change the oposition teams players Speed Tackling and Strength to Zero. and then chose nambia and get all their players speed up to 99 while being careful not to cross the 59 rating mark.. This will help.. It will still be hard to get the ball off the oposition but you should be able to run in trys around their sluggish defence.

It is only the final that has to be played on hard, so the others can be played on easy if that helps you. Simply win the World Cup final on hard with a team under 60. It is likely you will have to play New Zealand.

This achievement is close to impossible, so you may need to follow these steps to be able to beat the top teams on hard difficulty level.
- From the Main Menu, select options, then edit players, select Russia.
- Edit their CT & WG's Speed and Acceleration, make sure the teams overall does not go above 59.
- Edit everyone on the substitute bench to overall 99, keep them on the bench because this does not affect the teams overall stats.
- Save & Exit
- Start the Rugby World Cup and select to play as Russia. Their overall should now be at 58 or 59.
- Select Hard difficulty, then start the match making no alterations to your starting line up.

As soon as the match starts, press
once the ball has been kicked, bring all of your substitutes with 99 rating onto the field straight away. - Now try your best to win the game, at this point it will still be a challenge against the top sides.
