Dashing is ESSENTIAL in this game, you maybe will not get this achievement during your first run, but if you play for New Game+ you will achieve it without even notice it.

Finished the game on Normal and then New Game+. I was only 64% thru this achievement at that moment. This achievement finally popped during my "no deaths" run, at the epilogue.

I can confirm you may not unlock this achievement after two runs

my achievement tracker seems to have completed stopped for this. Does this have to be in one sitting?

edit* seems there were service issues and both my xbox ones acted up. I am now checking if it is tracking again. This is why I constantly check
