How to unlock the Peace was never an option achievement in Ruiner - Definitive Guide
On Main Menu you will find "Game Modes", then select "Arena Mode", this will start the survival.
You need to beat 10 waves on HARD mode set by default, after each round you will be able to choose between 2 weapons and 3 abilities, which you can upgrade after each round if they allow you to. I suggest you to choose the hack ability when optional, as some enemies will attack the hacked one and this will give a few moments to breathe.
This isn't as hard as it sound, because if you die, you will restart the round and no the entire survival, so you only need to be patient.
The achievement will unlock after you beat the 10th round.

The Heavy Cyborg at wave 5 is absolutely insufferable.
My advice for the Heavy Cyborg here, is to get a blue wave generator (the one take takes away your energy - the red ones take away health and must be destroyed), and then just use dash and shoot the Cyborg. Time your dashes to avoid gunfire or the Cyborg's leaping attack, keep grabbing the health that spawns in the middle (the Cyborb occasionally drops health pickups after you damage it enough).
This fight gets very hard and chaotic if you're constantly rushing around destroying the red/blue wave generators as well as fighting the Cyborg. The game is fast pace and it's easy to make a fatal mistake. The blue ones don't damage you, just drain your energy, and you don't really need your abilities for this fight. Just dash and shoot. By ignoring the blue wave generator, you can just focus on the Cyborg and I found it made life much easier.

This game mode can be found in the main menu just navigate to Arena Mode. I looked at the previous guide and found this area of the game to be hard depending on what strategy you use. I would definitely advise the following while you are going through your play through. Some of your runs may need some luck but the strategies I used broke me out of a 3 day losing streak.
- If you are given the choice to get more health or more energy definitely choose health.
- When possible get the ghost break ability get that as well. Using this ability creates a distraction and you are able to corner other enemies.
- If you are shooting for the Seasoned Fighter achievement (50,000 points) in the arena I would recommend using the ruiner kills when an opponent is downed. It will give you close to 400 points per kill.
- On level 5 you will have to dodge close to 10 mines. Slow down time and dash through them. Dash through the suicide enemies after that. Once you clear these enemies you will have to fight the a boss. I tried using the same tactics I used during the campaign play through and it did not work - ie, dashing up to the boss, melee, and then dash before he has a chance to ground pound causing massive damage to you. There will be robots that come crashing down to either deplete your energy or health. Kill the health robot and leave the energy robot in place. You will not need energy for this boss fight. Keep dashing in a huge circle away from the boss while shooting. Keep an eye out for new weapons being brought by the drones. I kept doing this to beat this boss.
- On level 7 I ran into a boss in a vey tight space with laser walls. Stay away from the walls when you can and go to the far right of the map. There is a layer wall there. Hide behind this and keep positive control of the middle to bottom right corner of the wall. I played peek-a-boo with the boss in this corner and kept shooting him. Occasionally run to the top of the wall to get him back into a predictable pattern. I was able to kill him so fast with this technique after dying to many times.
- Before I started level 8 I had to choose another upgrade and I picked the ghost break +. I was now able to control 3 people. I used this all the way through the last 3 levels and got both this achievement and the Seasoned Fighter achievement.
Happy Hunting guys and gals.

In the main menu, select "Game Modes" and then "Arena Mode".
Here you will find 10 waves (not counting additional ones), consisting of opponents attacking you.
Upon completion of each, you will be given a specific skill to choose from. I advise you to purchase a hack at the first opportunity. Enemies will not only fight for you, but their comrades will also stop paying attention to you, trying to shoot the “hacked” one.
