It's best to do this on your first playthrough to get an idea of the gameplay and decide upon a playstyle that works with you for the harder achievements in the game (i.e the speedrun mode and new game+ mode). If you're up to it: you can also try to avoid dying to get the achievement below alongside your completion of the easy story (you can dashboard each time you die to reset the counter!).



On easy, the game isn't bad at all, enemies are fairly weak and don't do too much damage. There's both ranged and melee weapons in the game, i'd recommend getting good at using melee weapons and their charged attacks (a locked upgrade initially) if you're planning to get every achievement in this game as they're substantially faster at taking out waves than ranged weapons are!

There's also perks within the game that you can spend skill points on that range from basic bonus HP/energy to more utility type perks like dropping a drone that carries a fully loaded weapon so ensure that you keep upgrading as you progress through the story as well as keep an eye out for new tiers that get unlocked as you progress.
