How to unlock the Fortune seeker achievement in Ruiner - Definitive Guide

You must find them all before completing your playthrough. IT'LL NOT WORK if you collect any missing coin replaying chapters after beating the game or collect them on New Game+.

If that happens You'll need to start a new game and collect them all again so to avoid any frustration I recommend you get them in the order they are meant to be found as you progress in the game. Don't forget to talk to iChing every time you collect 3 coins to have your fortune read and she can give you your next task. Also when talking to her always select the option to explain your fortune.

EDIT: As some players have posted on the comments you can collect any missing coins replaying chapters then talking to iChing in Rengkok to get the achievement. Maybe the devs patched it or perhaps it just glitched on me but nevertheless you can try collecting the missing coins via chapter selection first and if doesn't pop for you then you try following my original solution. One way or the other will get you the achievement. Good Luck!

I just did this achievement and you don't need to do it all. Over again. Just find the missed coins finish the level and in Ragnarok. Go and talk with iching. After that the achievement pops up. I've missed 2 coins in friki nest and do it this way and works.

glad to hear it worked that way for you. In my case I had to restart the game and collect the coins again. On my 1st playthrough I missed 2 coins collected them by going into chapter selection and it didn't work. Good to know you didn't have to do all over again though. Congrats! clap

I can also confirm that you can use Level Select after beating the game to collect missing coins. After collecting the missing ones, you still need to return to iChing in Rengkok South and talk to him.

I missed one of the coins in Creep's Firehole.

Glad to hear it worked with the chapter selection option for you Fejer. Maybe they patched it or perhaps this is one of those achievements that are kinda glitchy for some players. Nevertheless good for you you didn't need to start the game over. Congrats! clap clap

I missed a coin, started new game +, got the missing coin, talked to her, and it popped.

Missed coins can be collected through chapter selection.
When you find the last one, I Ching will contact you and the trophy will drop. That is, there will be no need to go to her city anymore.
