Just like the other achievements related to medal earnings, you get medals based on the speed with which you complete the missions.


There are more than 10 "easy" (green) levels in Forgotten Forest alone, so if you are struggling, work your way around the board to get to those and practice until you can nail them. Fortunately in my experience for most levels the game allows a few errors to be made and still get 3 medals.
