He has three moves, slide, up-freeze (bombardment) and side-freeze (single gun shot).
He will slide towards you pretty consistently, so be ready to jump over him. Other than that, his attacks are super easy to dodge and as long as you stay to the other side of the screen you'll have more than enough time to react.

Story related, can't be missed
You will meet Necron-Z at the end of the 15th level. One of the trickiest bosses of the game will shoot ice beams at you (crouch) and throw a volley of snowballs at you - watch out for the red markers similar to ones in the second boss fight. Ever so often he will slide towards you and you will have to jump over him. Problem is that he can stop this attack at any moment and if that happens while you are jumping over him he will almost certainly hit you. His attack patterns are random so you will need some luck and fast reflexes to get through this one. Usual strategy of keeping the distance, crouching and shooting while being ready to evade should eventually work. Trophy will unlock after defeating Necron-Z. Here is a video:
