If you have trouble dealing with the enemy alone like me as a lower rank,
you can choose the arena " The Emperor's Road" and play with your friend
or the other random guy. The achievement will be easier and it will unlock
once you finish the first round.

You can do this solo, select cutom match/Solo/Invictius.
You start if by killing the barbarian gurads, there will be 4-5 'barbarian guards. Then you move on the burn the wickermen by kicking over the fire things. The next objective is to kill the barbarians attacking the temple, there will be about 10 barbarians for you to take out. You must then take and hold the temple. Move to the temple and stand inside it whilst killing enemies. The temple will rebuild itself as you kill enemies. Then you'll have to kill the remaing barbarians and rebuild the bridge whilst killing the enemies. Be careful here as big circles with skulls in them will appear on the floor. Do not step in these as archers will shoot in them. Once the bridge is rebuilt you'll have to detroy two catapaults and kill about 15 barbarians. Then a statue of the emporer will rise from the floor and you must protect him. If you fail and they destroy the statue then you must kill all the enimies. the mission will end and pop goes the cheevo.

Just to clarify to everyone you HAVE to protect the statue of Nero. If the Barbarians managed to destroy it your achievement will become void for that game.
An easy way to defend Nero is to use the God Jupiter as this will freeze enemies that are attacking and will allow you to quickly slash them to pieces. Once you've killed 3-4 waves Nero will join the fight and your achievement will instantly unlock.

I won the achiev right in this moment with the statue destroyed.
