How to unlock the I Have A Story To Tell (Legendary) achievement in Ryse: Son of Rome - Definitive Guide
Description is self explanatory, simply beat this level on Legendary difficulty. The reason I am postin a solution is because this will not unlock for some people because of a glitch. The way around this glitch is instead of starting a new campaign on legendary select each level individually from the timeline and select legendary difficulty. At the completion of the level your Achievement will unlock.
edit: Park Diesel said in the comments that you can not skip cut scenes for the achievement to pop, I skipped them but if you still are having an issue this may be a solution.
edit 2: Accoring to Ibanez V7 It's nothing to do with skipping / not skipping cutscenes. As AP MisTaKeZ pointed out, the top left of the screen should read "Health Regen +0". Ibanez V7 had to go in and out of the 1st level twice before they had a 0.
As posted on x360a:
**WARNING: Although the achievements themselves don't appear to be glitched, the game seems to have trouble recognizing when you are selecting 'Legendary' difficulty for some people. To be sure you are playing on Legendary as soon as you start Chapter I check to see what your base execution bonus number is, for Legendary it should be '0'.**

Thanks much man. Couldn't figure out why mine weren't unlocking.

Unfortunately, I don't think the glitch is that simple. I did what you said, skipping cut-scenes where I could, and the achievement did not unlock.
I did it again, skipping no cut-scenes, and it did unlock.
Could have just been a coincidence with the cut-scenes but selecting the first level on legendary difficulty alone did not work the first time.

My main tips for doing this mission are to keep the health boost on at all times because of the large amount of health that you lose after one hit.

Story related, cannot be missed.
This achievement will be unlocked by completing chapter I on Legendary Difficulty.
Legendary difficulty is unlocked after completing the story. Some notes and tips to completing the game on Legendary:
- Parry and evade are essential, the enemies hit much harder so you can't just eat blows like you can on the lower levels. Also health regain is vastly reduced.
- Heavy attacks are your best friend on the bigger enemies. A heavy attack is performed by holding either or and will stagger them, even if they are mid swing, and you can follow up with a couple of sword strikes before moving onto another enemy or just rolling back and repeating.
- Unblockable attacks no longer have the red highlight on your attacker, including bosses, so you need to get a feel for the animations so you can either time a perfect parry or get out of the way.
- Your base execution bonus is zero. This means that, unlike the lower levels where you can miss a button press and still receive your base bonus, if you miss a single press during your executions you get nothing.
- Stick with the Health execution bonus, the minor damage bonus is not worth giving up the extra health from your executions, especially when regular hits take off an entire health capsule and heavy ones a capsule and a half.
- Try to make every execution count, even if you have to slow down your presses to soldier hits, having the lowest bonus is better than having nothing.
- Plumes are your friend, try to keep a good stock of them as much as you can. During combat the quick throw, + , will set up standard enemies for instant executions and disarm the shielded enemies.

I recommend that you fully upgrade all your skills before starting a new level; look at the “Marketer” achievement.
