How to unlock the Marketer achievement in Ryse: Son of Rome - Definitive Guide

Unlike the other solution for this achievement there is an easy way to get this in one playthrough no matter what difficulty you play on.

The key to getting this achievement is keeping a high multiplier while in combat while using the "Bonus XP" perk (right on D-Pad). Each hit will add x1 to your multiplier increasing the amount of Valor you get when the combo is either broken or you've defeated all enemies in an area and the multiplier expires. An easy way to get your multiplier up is during executions. A Legendary hit will add x3 to the multiplier, a Centurion hit will add x2 whereas a Soldier hit will add x1 like a normal hit would.

Having your multiplier broken by an enemy will drastically reduce the amount of Valor you earn from that multiplier, whereas if you kill all the enemies within an area and the multiplier expires you will earn much more Valor. In the open square area while protecting your father Leontius in the "S.P.Q.R" mission I achieved over a x150 multiplier and earned around 75k Valor for that one multiplier itself.

This achievement is a lot easier as well if you have good combat awareness too, when an enemy is approaching you mid-combat always press A to keep them from breaking the multiplier and attack them and switch back and forth between targets when multiple are attacking you.

This achievement is fairly easy if you're good at maintaining multipliers. The rough cost of all the upgrades and executions combined is around 2 million Valor and all the upgrades and executions are unlocked by level 7 which is unlocked after earning 600k Valor.

Hope this solution has helped. If you leave a negative vote please leave some constructive criticism in the comments section so I can work on improving it.

No I haven't mate, if this is the case that this happens I'll work it into my guide but as far as I'm aware it pops fine.

I was wondering if I was missing some upgrades somewhere. My counter says I'm at 36 of 68, but I don't have any more that I can buy. I got enough valor to buy the last of my options before the start of the last chapter and obviously was in quite a bit of combat since then. Is there something I'm missing?

Nevermind. Apparently I didn't realize that big window on the left about execution was another section of upgrades.

Glitched for me as well. It even says 100% in the achievement app but it won't unlock. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Glitched for me too. Got the final execution upgrade last night and it's stuck at 98%, with nothing else to buy.

You should really go over what to actually buy. Like Naberios above, I didn't realize executions was an actual section.

This achievement is not popping for me. I've obtained LvL 10 (max rank single player) as well as over LvL 200 in multiplayer. I've also purchased all upgrades and armor in SP and MP.
I've played the campaign more than 3 times plus a few single maps of the campaign.
The progression panel is stuck at 52% on my Xbox achievement tracker. It's the last achievement and I have no idea what to do anymore to unlock it.

Now that you can take free gold from Xbox Store, just get a really large amount of it, buy all upgrades, and start any fight :)

The rough cost of all the upgrades and executions combined is around 2 million Valor

Although you need more like 10 million Valor for the 68 upgrades, as I have already earned 7 million and that is not enough.

I don't see the point in worrying about getting this achievement, and there is certainly no reason to grind it out. I got most of it done on my first playthrough, but since a second playthrough is required for all the Legendary achievements you will get it in due course.

I used TwistahXD his solution but would like to add things to speed it up :)

When you get to the point where you have to protect your father (and get tons of valor points like he sed).afther you killed everyone and got your valor points.
Just restart cheqpoint the game tells you : you will lose everything that's not saved BUT you keep you valor points.
So i just protect my father 4times and was able to get over 600k valor points in like 10 minutes.
so instead of runing trough one or 2 missions to get your last points you can do this :) NOTE : when you bought all your upgrades and stuff you have to kill a few enemies for the cheevo to pop up...(at least for me it did )

(sorry for bad englisch )

With in-game gold now being free in the Microsoft store just head over there and get yourself plenty of gold to buy all the upgrades with.

To buy all of the upgrades you will need to have title 7 - Salararius which is fairly easy to obtain by the third chapter especially if you have the xp boost executions on

Once you have done this just load up a match and you should get the achievement.

I believe you don’t need much more than 25,000 gold to unlock everything

This the best guide here. You can just click the 25k gold option for free over and over again on the Xbox store then jump in the game and buy everything.

A new way to add to the previous guides

Again SPQR mission, and by all mean do the combos on the first section you'll net around a 30-40x on the first room, then 60x on the next room this is a big room with lots of enemies...BUT, later on after you climb the building..

get to the colosseum where there are pila archers on the roofs, kill them, jump down

now you should have max focus by this point if you break the pots along the way

So, use the focus, kill the first three, then focus, next three and focus next three

this normally gets around 60x and with untouchable bonus, focus bonus +xp
-- I got about 50'000xp from this checkpoint

Once you have all the upgrades and executions unlocked, simply get into a fight and the achievement is yours.

To unlock all the upgrades you will need to get to level 7 in SP and it will cost you 798,000 Valor for all combat upgrades and 1,202,000 Valor for all executions. So that's a cool 2 million total, this will likely take you two playthroughs, to make this a little faster you can buy the XP execution bonus upgrades first and use your XP execution as much as possible. The bonuses during your Legendary playthrough will likely be very small and not worth giving up the health regain for. If you find yourself short on Valor at the end of your second run you can load up Chapter I on recruit and fight your way to the end of the bridge, then restart checkpoint and repeat. Depending on your skill with executions and how high you can keep your multiplier you can easily get 60-100k+ Valor in five minutes.

It is optimal to do this task before the legendary level. Video

I still don’t understand why they recommend leveling up to 100% on the first playthrough, if all the leveling remains on the second! wasted my time!
so feel free to start a new game on a legend, for 100% you only need 9lvl!
