How to unlock the Oh, Let Me Have a Little Bit of Peril? achievement in Ryse: Son of Rome - Definitive Guide

I have just done this with another player with both of us using the God Apollo. The best advice I can give you is try not to stray too far from one another and use your focus attack often (Solar Stun if using Apollo)

If your team mate goes down drop that multiplier and revive him asap as you only have 30 seconds to do so or you both fail. Using the above god and mainly focus gear we got his done in about half an hour.

Out of the three survival maps this I found to be the easiest.

Credit goes to my team mate Codename Arkane as well.

There is no solo mode for survival.

In the twitch stream they said they wanted to bring more modes to solo however.

Lasting seven minutes is ridiculously easy. I always choose Apollo and even if the other player uses another god we can last over ten minutes before the partner is consumed by health drain. If the other player knows the strategy for Survival and also chooses Apollo we can last over twenty five minutes and rank up high multiple levels.

I don't really think sticking together is that necessary for any of the maps, as between me and my co-op partner we got downed less than 3 times a map and only after the 10 minute mark, neither of us using consumables.Lasting 7 minutes is ridiculously easy imo.

In your opinion, can this be done Solo?
I'm asking this because for whatever reason I cannot find a coop teammate in Ryse whatsoever and I would like to know this before purchasing the DLC.
Thanks.

Firstly make sure you have some high level gear going into survival. I swapped my gear for anything health related, focus being next priority.

Choose Apollo as your god, the health regain will help a lot! Even better if your partner can choose this to. It's focus ability is slowing down enemies so I found this to be a bit of a blessing also, just be warned some can be outside the range and can rush you at full speed. Try not to go to far away from your partner as you could be asked to heal at any given notice, but at the same time try not to get two groups on you both at a very close proximity as they will easily rush you.

Lastly make sure you learn the attacks of all the enemies and when you should strike, knock and more importantly block!

These survival achievements are pretty simple as long as you watch your surroundings and the enemies attacking.

Surviving for seven minutes is not a difficult task with a good time consisting of twenty five minutes upwards. Simply do it on Dockyard in the Survival Mode.

There are a few tips that can be offered here :

  • Use Apollo or Jupiter as your gods. Apollo is probably the best here, for both players as his health boost will help immensely to counter the bleed.
  • Focus Focus Focus. When you have a full focus bar, use it. It sets you up for the executions, and stops you getting hit.
  • Execute Execute Execute. This should be the only way you are killing enemies. With Apollo as your God, every execution refills your health. Simply chain executions and you should have no problems.
  • Equip a health potion and a revival potion to your two potion slots. Use them when you are in trouble.
  • Don't forget the statues! You may use Nero's statue once per round, and it will completely fill your health and your focus. If it starts getting hairy, use it.
  • The higher your rank, the easier this is due to your gear. Equip gear with more health slots and higher regen.

If you follow the above advice, you should have no problem clearing huge times unless your rank and gear restricts you.
