How to unlock the Flash Royal achievement in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Definitive Guide

*Temporary note about a potential required third missable for helping The Ninth on side mission The Lost Boys. See comments.

*Temporary note regarding save tracking. MIGHT be all of the saves within a slot, not multiple slots. More feedback needed.

So, this achievement is somewhat of a nightmare. 2 missables, for starters, lots are a bit tricky to actually get to (locked doors, puzzles, door codes, accessed from an anomaly a kilometer away, only accessible after some missions) and there is no decent way to keep track of the blueprints you have/still need. The map size and limited fast travel are also a bane for this achievement.

Onto the good: The blueprints track across all of your saves, so if you're like me and missed one of the missables, you can at least reload an older save if you have one. Might take you hours, but better than having to get all 77 on a new save.

To track blueprints you still need, unfortunately the only way is to have the gun/armor in your inventory, open the PDA, tab over to upgrades, and inspect each individual part on the item. Missing blueprints show up as a little blue icon in the top right of the part you're looking at. Not great, not terrible. At least there's a way.

Lots of the required armor and guns can be found throughout play(looted or bought), though the exoskeletons are somewhat rare (1-2 locations for each at best) and I recommend keeping one of each variant for exactly this purpose. Some will have to be found, or you can just make a list of the ones you haven't found and track their blueprints another way. The ones with blueprints are:

Weapons:
M10 Gordon
Rhino
APSB
Integral-A
Zubr-19
VS Vintar
Grom S-14
AS Lavina
Kharod
Dnipro
M701 Super
SVU-MK S-3
M860 Cracker
Saiga D-12
Ram-2
RPM-74

Armor:
Berill-5M Armored Suit
SSP-100 Discovery
PSZ-12V Bulat
PSZ-9D Duty Armor
PSZ-9I Falcon
SEVA Suit
SEVA-V Suit
SEVA-I Suit
SEVA-D Suit
Operator Exoskeleton
Brummbar Exoskeleton
Exoskeleton
Liberty Exoskeleton
Bulwark Exosuit
Cuirass Exoskeleton
Shield of Duty Exosuit
Sphere M20 Helmet
Ballistic Helmet
Mask-1 Helmet
Tactical Helmet

The two missables:

Spoiler: Side with the Noontiders on "Wishful Thinking" (~1/3 the way through story), and make sure you grab the blueprint during "Happiness for Everyone" (~2/3 the way through). Pharcyde confirmed you can come back here later, but the sewer is not accessible if you side with The Ward.

Near the end of the game, choose Polissya Hotel during "Down Below".

Also, found out the psi dome band is actually the protective coating blueprint. Was scratching my head for that since I needed it fore seva v and bulwark.

I may go through and check the lead containers again for that reason. I ended up buying/finding all the remaining armor/weapons so I could stash them but have no idea how to get "Shield of Duty Exosuit" or what the alternative name is (for instance one of the above listed armors is something like Guardian of Freedom or Guardian of something). I also could not get the regular exoskeleton because I missed it while visiting Strelok. But regardless, with those being the only 2 actual items not in my stash I double checked I had all the blueprints.

I may try the lost boys quest though I may not have a save left that early in the game to see if I have that one, but I believe it is just a duplicate blueprint similar to the Sircaa one for integral A. So tired of this one, and then I have 7 artifacts left to get :/

Try the cement factory vendor for Shield of Duty. I believe you can buy it there, though not every time. might need to sleep.

I dont have a save for the lost boys, but it is for the viper so I checked and do have that flash drive. Once I finish my last ending and grab my last artifact I will go through the whole list again by region. I do believe it is bugged, or that at the very least a weird requirement that is not yet figured out and confirmed.

got 76/77 on my Save 3 and at the very least went back to an oooold save on Save 1 to triple confirm i had the Duga missable.
And no achievement, either the game is fucking with my mental or i missed one, except i watched the entire video again, and i know where and exactly when i got it before he opens the map, im losing my mind.
that + the game perma crashing in the Red Fortress portal for my 2 remaining Endings, meaning i can't complete them.
that + the Bingo and Four Winds still being Unobtainable.
It does NOT deserve a 4/5 rating 2 weeks in. Rushed release when no one asked them to drop, the fanbase has been waiting 15 years already, a few more months would have a benediction compared to a broken game, "it's not a glitch, it's an anomaly" has its limits.

Quick note, it is Polissya hotel in prypiat for the Saiga 12 blueprint. I need to check the other missable one (may be the last one I am missing possibly).

I have found all 77 on a single save and still no pop. Went through the list twice. May give up for now. Even loaded an old Sircaa save for the extra integral a one.

Question to the guys above, did you help The Ninth near the start of the game during the side mission The Lost Boys? You get a blueprint there. I'd read something about it not being required, but if you guys did not help The Ninth, maybe try that? That would be 3 missables, then.

https://youtu.be/d3FG2dgwSVY?si=xYKaOuPCYekc81g2&t=1056

From what I can find is that it's for the M10 Gordon rubber layer, but then that's also found at the Iron Gate. However, maybe the achievement requirement is checking for this blueprint, even though it's a duplicate.

If you do have that one, and you have checked everything manually in the upgrades, for each listed weapon and armor. I'm not sure what to say. I had to double check because I thought I had them all, but for me I missed the one near the Tornado that I thought I grabbed.

i have done The Ninth quest on my Save 2 for sure, he died in Save 1, i rushed with no side quest on Save 3.
So if progress is shared across all Saves, i should have it in my progress yes.

On my Save 3, i also boughy every single weapon from random vendors, checked with Technicians for upgrades, and all of my weapons, gears, and helmets are done, all i need on Save 3 is the Duga for the Zubr-19 which has been done on Save 1.

This game just fucking with me

Checked and rechecked nearly everything, and the achievement won't pop. I think its bugged.

Looks like I missed one in Sircaa, but that same blueprint is gettable elsewhere and there appears that there's 2 of them. I have it unlocked in my upgrade screen. But maybe this is whats bugged me out? Just a heads up to anyone, grab the one in Sircaa before you finish that quest area, otherwise it locks you out. Just a theory, but better to be safe than sorry.

I feel your pain, that hurts.

Can you do me a favor and triple check that you have all the lead container/titanium part upgrades on the exoskeletons? I missed one here as well, due to the far right container going off the playable screen area. I didn't actually see the little blueprint icon, and only realized I was missing a titanium blueprint when I highlighted the lead container.

One other thought, you mention "Save 1" and "Save 3". Are you actually on Slot 1 and Slot 3?

Just a thought, but myself and others when referring to "They track across your saves", what we might mean is the list of all your saves within a single slot.

For example, I replayed one of my early ~30 hard saves within the list of slot 1 to get the Duga missable. Then later, I picked up the one at the Tornado and got the achievement, because I had picked up the Polissya missable on a different save. All on slot 1.

I can only speak for myself and how I did it, but it was all on the same slot of ~30 hard saves, and however many quick/auto saves it allows. I'd try to see if someone else used multiple slots and got this.

@AbsoIuteZero x I think some of the quest related ones can also be unlocked elsewhere, like there is 2 blueprints for the same unlock. Possibly you need both of them, rather than just the one.
