Get up on the tower near Zelissya and shoot the farthest entry gaurds/stalker (choose any who is visible) from there without using ADS/Scope. They usually don't move, so easy to target.
(You can use the scope to pin point the location of the stalker before shooting.)
Have your most accurate weapon, I did it with scoped AK that we get from Water Tower (Warlock's Debtor quest), without using the scope ofcourse.
It will take a few try but keep trying (buy bullets if you need then reload the game). If you see any blood then it wasn't headshot. headshots kills have a different sound and people here will die from one headshot.

I tried for several hours at various times, different locations (all the suggestions and more), with a variety of guns (even pistols), aiming for head or accounting for drop-off and could not get this to pop!
One thing to note was this was on Stalker difficulty and I only started to try after getting to close of the end of the main story, so were facing tougher (armored) enemies.
It wasn't until I dropped the difficulty to 'easy' while cleaning up some of the longer alternative endings and out of frustration randomly trying it on some enemies during the attack on 'Energetik Palace of Culture' ( enemies rushing across the plaza) that I got this.
Weirdly though I don't feel I was 75m away ( previously i'd marked a way point on the map to judge distance) and when it popped I don't think I had actually hit anyone for a few seconds.
So not entirely sure what happened, though i do feel that perhaps if anyone is having difficulty with this, maybe drop down to 'easy' as maybe that helps with specific damage level or at least try it at this location.

I got this at Slag Heap using clusterFvck. Stood on the crane where you meet Richter (exact spot is on top of the bird nest) then aimed at the guard on top of the building. Took about 60 shots aiming over his head.

I managed to get this after a few tries in Zalissya with a VS Vintar (Fully Upgraded).
I marked on the map where some guard were and walked down the road until I was about 80m away from them. After trying a few times to shoot them without the scope I tried seeing if I could trick the game. Was able to get the achievement to pop by lining up a headshot and zooming out right after pulling the trigger. For the VS Vintar the bullet drop for a 75-80m headshot is around at the first mark on the scope. Will probably take a few tries to get the timing right but hopefully this will be easier than trying to noscope them.

This does indeed work and I managed to get it with an non-upgraded Valik Lummox's AKM-74S with the scope from the top of the tower in Zalissya, so you don't need a tricked-out rifle to get this.

Yes, it will take some time and is kinda luck based, because there is weapon spread, recoil and hand sway present in this game. but keep trying, it took me 3 full clips to get a headshot.

I know i'm a little late to this party. i was having a hard time with this until i loaded up a new game and got to the part where i had to go to the first settlement in the game. as you go up the road you can see the three bandits harassing's the guy in the house. they only appear when you are within 80 meters of them. create a save file as soon as you can see them. if you are having trouble aiming don't worry you can always hook up a wireless mouse and also use your control at the time. at the distance that the bandits are it takes about three shots to get a kill. just rinse and repeat until you get the achievement.

An easy way to get this one is to climb the tower near Zalissya. You get up this tower as part of the Warlock’s Debtor quest, and you find a good gun up there in a stash. (See our guide on How to get a great early assault rifle in Stalker 2, for more info on this locations).
Once you’re up there, use an AK to pop one of the guards at the far entrance. Weirdly, despite the achievement description, you actually can use a scope. Once you make a headshot, the Loner Shooter achievement will then unlock.

There's a great spot in garbage during the missions "A Big Score" & "No honor among theives". A big score is received by Zakhan in Slag Heap and No horon I got from talking to Huron who's the main trader there.
At the Brood, there's a silo at back. Climb to the top and SAVE. You'll be able to see the car lot for the Big score. Dude will just be chilling in the middle of the parking lot.

Yellow chest in main cities that transfer your goods around, they're located in the main trading rooms in the first 2 cities, going to assume that's where they are in the others. If your late game and haven't used it yet, that's pretty crazy but id assume you have a lot of coupons or you leave a lot behind.
