Find a group of 4 or more dogs. Make sure to kill at least 1 with each equipped weapon. I used my knife right away, switched to my pistol, and then followed up with my last 2 equipped weapons.

I’ve done this several times with a group of human enemies and it won’t pop. Either it’s bugged or there’s some really weird ways the game considers a “fight”

Find a group of 4 or more dogs. Make sure to kill at least 1 with each equipped weapon. I used my knife right away, used my 2 equipped weapons next(shotgun and Viper but any will do) and then followed up with my pistol.
Dogs seem to have the least amount of life next to rat bunnies. there's a couple missions where you do get swarmed by rat bunnies if you want to look out for these little guys.

I think the red and blue in the compass area determines if your in a "fight". I would assume if this goes blue at all, that would end the fight.

This one isn’t too difficult. I unlocked the Personal Approach achievement in the same scenario as in The good, the bad and the ugly (15G). The same thing there applies here – plonk down a save point just before this encounter. It's a great idea to begin the encounter with a stealth kill, using the knife, if you can, because that counts as one of the four ways and hopefully you haven’t aggro’d the whole group.
Then use a grenade second, because this is a great way to deal damage and will kick off the combat. Now the pressure begins. Hopefully, you have managed to actually kill someone with the blast. Now you switch to your guns. I would recommend having a shotgun in one slot and a rifle in the other. Use the rifle to pick off as many as you wish for the third kill method. Last of all, go in with a shotgun to finish off the stragglers.
There you have it: four different methods, four different enemies, and the Personal Approach achievement will then unlock.
