Pretty simple, at the start of a level you do your chosen rangers symbol in mid air, so you need to do this with all 5 rangers.
What I did was just play a level and at the start of the next level (proper level not megazord battle), I quit and chose the next ranger, then continued. If you do it like this you will unlock it as soon as you write your 5th rangers symbol, on the 5th level.
