Sable

There are 6 ''shrines'' to find where you can collect 1 ring within them and you bring those to the ''Mysterious Shrine''. To unlock the shrnes, you need to go thru the 4 rings near each shrine with your hover bike. If you are too slow, rings will turn off and you'll have to try again.
--Mysterious shrine is located in the ''Badlands'' 4 squares east of the Cartographer balloon. (if you zoom in you see dotted squares). Talk to Machinist Fir.
--1st shrine is south-west from the mysterious shrine in the Badlands. From there, go 2 squares down and 2 to the left. Go to the red dot.
--2nd shrine is in the ''Sansee'' N-E of Burnt Oak Station, From there, 2 squares right and 1 up. The red dot right next to 'The Dunboyne'
--3rd shrine is in the ''Redsee'' Directly south of Eccria, 2 square down.
--4th shrine is in the Hakoa region, south of Seven Sister Station. 6 square down, 1 to the right, go to red dot.
--5th shrine is in the ''wash'' area. South east of Marrow Bone Station, 5 squares to the right, 1 down, big red dot.
--6th shrine is in the ''Sodic Waste'' area, From the Cartographer's balloon, 4 squares down and 4 squares to the right. red dot.

When you have all 6, return to the Mysterious Shrine, place all 6 rings on the pedestals and talk to Machinist Fir. It took him 3 days in game to study those rings before I could talk to him again and complete the quest.
