Quest: The Long Drop
Giver: Inkeeper Afii at Seven Sisters Station (Northern part of Hakoa, the SW area of the map)
Follow your compass to the objective marker, enter the location and drop in the water to go through into a dark cave.
Climb up on the small rock spires to grab the seeds and drop them down to the slicer beetles. Wait for the weird eye on their backs to open and then jump on the eye to scare some poo out of them. Repeat x3 for the quest.

the beetles just sit there with hearts and don't eat the seeds or open the thing on their back? is this a bug or am I missing something?

If the seed is near them then they should scuttle up to it and little hearts should start appearing around their heads, then after a few seconds their abdomen shell opens up.
May need to fast travel away and come back or reboot the game maybe?
