How to unlock the The Cartographer Mask achievement in Sable - Definitive Guide

3 badges of a kind are needed to obtain it's respective mask.
All 7 cartographers in the game sell Cartographer's Badges so after you get 3 you can stop spending cuts on them. Each badge costs 50 cuts.
When you enter a new region look around for a weather balloon and mark it with cn_RB to find the cartographer for the region.

-Cartographer Jourdan in the Ewer (starting area)
-Cartogapher Niaz in the Sansee (wide desert region after leaving Ewer)
-Cartographer Arzu in Hakoa (SW region of the map)
-Cartographer Talon in Redsee (NW region)
-Unknown Cartographer in Badlands (middle area about 6 square grids W of Hercules Beetle Nest)
-Cartographer Iliud in Sodic Waste (NE region)
-Cartographer Sifi in The Wash (SE region)

The balloon east of Marrow Bone, north of the Watch... How do I get up there? I climb what seems to be the obvious path and get high enough to see the top, but I can't reach it. The sides of the rock are sloped such that I can't climb the last bit.

Edit: Nevermind. The secret is to try, fail, and fall 20 times, and then it works. The intricacies of this refined climbing system...

That one was a huge pain. It allowed me to climb to the top on the 2nd to last outcropping, but not on the highest one. Weird.
