How to unlock the Partners in Crime achievement in Saints Row 2 - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you must start from the beginning of the game in co-op and do every Saints, Ronin, Brotherhood, Samedi and Ultor missions. Each mission MUST be done in co-op but it doesn't have to be the same partner each time and it doesn't matter what order you do them in so long as you do them all.

You can check your progress in the statistics section of the pause menu. And you can also check your noticeboard in certain cribs to check which ones you have and haven't done and maybe go back and replay ones you haven't done.

This achievement is reported to be glitchy however when it comes to redoing missions in co-op that you have only done in single player, follow the link below for more details:

http://community.saintsrow.com/blogs/?p=305

(this is something which I myself am having problems with but my mate got the achievement so I know the requirements)

The most critical thing to remember is to actually start a new game in Co-op. From the Main menu choose Co-op/New Game. So many people (including myself) are ending up with 41/42 missions complete in co-op because they started a new game as they would solo and realized you can't invite someone to co-op while you're in mid-mission (you start in your Prision Break mission at the beginning). So, "oh, we'll start co-op'ing after we both break out of prision" is the wrong answer.

12+ hours of co-op play later to finish all the missions to find yourself short one and having to start over for the 100G achievement... sucks.

True, but as soon as Volition pull their fingers out and release a patch for it - those people (inc me) who are stuck on whatever out of 42 missions should just be able to go to the notice board and redo the co-op missions they missed.

If you read the website they are working on a patch for the problem but as to the release of it I don't know yet - it will also cover the horrible freezing glitches when playing off a disc - hopefully!

Can you link to where you saw info on the upcoming patch? I've looked and haven't found anything official regarding the ability to go back and do missions in co-op to complete the achievement. Would be great be able to do the first mission to finish off this 100G achievement.

Just thought i'd let you all know that Saint's Row 2 recieved a patch on Wednesday, March 25th, which fixes this achievement. You will however need to replay any missions that aren't marked as "co-op complete" in your clipboard.

I can confirm it's fixed as well, but if you're lucky you might not have to replay the missions. I had a number that weren't marked and the achievement still popped as soon as I loaded my old save.

Also people, don't forget the vengeance mission after Ultor.

We had to do this to get the achievement.

Just to point out, you forgot to mention the Secret Mission you have to do in co-op; where you kill Julies. Because when i did co-op with a buddy, the Achivement didn't unlock for me and it was that secret mission i had to do.

I agree with above poster. The secret mission is crucial for this achievement, and you should put it in your solution. Obtain it by going to the Police Department in Saints Row, listening to all three conversations, then obtain the phone number (Dex?) in the next room. Phone Dex, and Julius' mission will appear.

The mission riot controll is kinda glitchy.. shaundi is dissapearing everytime and you cant finsih the mission. A solution that worked for us and a lot of other people..

keep killing her between de loading dock and the place where the pick up the boxes. if pierce comes back with the truck and the little ct scene is over.. she will be there if not try again other thing dont really work

concerning sider's comment about the glitched up shaundi - you can kill her as much as you want, it doesn't matter. what matters is that she gets killed by the enemies while jules i think gets the truck - either directly or by fire damage. tested that out yesterday about five times, so it doesn't work if you kill and revive her.

You can replay any mission you missed in coop from any of your cribs. Just check the bulletin board it should even tell you if it was completed in coop. No need to start all over again. NighthawkJoV i'm talking to you.

Me and my brother have got this game, we live together, and we've been playing-through XBox Live. Now the game is extremely laggy in connections, but I've noticed there is a System Link option. Can we use System Link and still get this achievement, or does it have to be via XBox Live?

Yep, I just completed the last Brotherhood mission, Showdown, and after it ended, my partner pressed start to look at something I guess, and my game went to a black screen, and I had to dashboard. Since he pressed start right at the start, it did not autosave for me, so it shows 34/42 missions for me, but 35/42 for him.

We redid that mission from the clipboard, but it still shows 34/42 for me.

Am I fucked?

Ok, may have fixed it, I cleared my HDD cache, loaded the game back up, took the update, and now it says 35/42 missions.

I'll comment again once we finish if that worked, and I got the achievement.

This achievement is a little different to the other co-op story achievements. Those other achievements will unlock at the same time as the corresponding single player achievement.

The single player achievement is for finishing the 4 Ultor (Epilogue) missions. However for this achievement you must complete all of the following:
4 Prologue
11 The Brotherhood
11 The Ronin
11 Sons of Samedi
4 Epilogue (Ultor Corp)
1 Extra (Revelation)
That will give you all 42/42 campaign missions, and a total of 56 missions completed.

Okay, x2i's guide covers the important stuff needed for this achievement. You must do from the prison break to face shooting Julius, and all missions (and strongholds) in between with a fresh character and a co-op partner. Start>Statistics>Page 14 will show you how many missions you've completed, and certain safe houses have bulletin boards that you can check for specific missions (look at the bottom for a co-op complete check mark).

As soon as you are done with acquiring the Saint's Hideout, and activities open up, ignore the story briefly. Focus on a few activities, as their rewards will make life much easier as you progress through the story.

I recommend:

Snatch- Chinatown (3x Health Regeneration)
Insurance Fraud- Factories (Unlimited Sprint)
Drug Trafficking- Airport (Unlimited Shotgun ammo, and the XS-2 Ultimax shottie) Each of you grab a chopper to put in the rooftop garage at the hideout while at the airport to make life easier for:

Base jumping- 3 Gold stars, no fall damage.

To speed things up even more, as soon as a mission/activity ends, call a cab to take you to the next one, only one player needs to initiate it, the other will be teleported to where ever it is upon start confirmation.

Eagline Yellow Taxi = 555-018-0174
Big Willy's Cab = 555-819-8415
TNA Taxi = 555-455-8008

Yep, cabs will take you anywhere discovered to which you can drive (it will take you anywhere on the mainland, but not to the prison or nuke plant from the mainland), including all missions and strongholds, but not to any locations with a question mark.

ok to get this you have to do all of the Saints, Ronin, Brotherhood, Samedi and Ultor missions. after you do all of that you need to kill Julius(watch video to find how to get the mission there are spoilers if you watch the WHOLE video.) And you should also start a new game and play with one friend

While in co-op, play and complete all of the missions in the Ronin, Samedi, and Brotherhood story arcs, as well as the Revival epilogue, the Ultor prologue, and the secret Julius mission.  For a complete walkthrough, check this thread.

WARNING: This achievement has been reported to be glitchy. To ensure you get it, both people should start up a brand-new game and only play co-op with each other.
