How to unlock the Romero's Hero achievement in Saints Row 2 - Definitive Guide
Instead of that you can mess around meleeing everithing you see in the first wave, and when it is over, run to the stairs al the back and jump to a little platform that is in there.
Then just wait (you can let your controller in the floor or whatever), since the fire zombies will explode and kill the other ones that gather around them, making the job instead of you.
You can also shoot the fire zombies in the head so they will explode earlier if you see it better.
The video shows you the place.
Have fun :)

This game is easy if you play it properly, but if not it can be a pain. To start off with turn around and run along the side of the building as there will be food and ammo you will need to help you along the way. Once you have gatherd everything avoid the zombies and walk across the square. You should see a set of stairs, walk up them still avoiding the zombies. once your at the top go to your right and walk along the balcony, on the floor there should be a minigun save this for later.
Now just use the melle attacks on all the normal zombies until you get to wave two, on this wave there will be tall zombies and fast zombies. The tall zombies are stronger than any other zombie so don't expect them to go down in one hit, as far as the fast zombies go there the same as normal zombies.
Now once you get to wave three you will have to watch out for the flame zombie's as these will burn you and this will take alot of damge. just head shot these and stay away from them. now that you have the basics down just rinse and repeat and should get the achievemen't.
Ignore the survivors and collect the ammo, weapons and food that the zombies drop every so often
Avoid zombies on fire, but don't kill them unless they corner you and you have no choice. They will die eventually anyway, and saves you ammo. Even better if you can manage it, get them to chase you into crowds of other zombies so they'll get set on fire too.
Save the automatic weapons for the remaining big zombies, make sure to kill the tiny ones from a distance, since they explode.
Ignore the other survivors. Reviving them costs you food that you need for yourself. Sounds selfish, but they're just a waste of resources and you can still win even if they all die.
When it's reasonably safe to do so, go up the stairs, look for the ledge on the far right (as you go up the stairs) and there's a mini-gun that should help you mop up whatever's left.
The chainsaw will break after a few uses, so save it for the end.
Don't rescue any downed survivors, since you're curing them with your own food supplies. Save the food for yourself.
In the first couple of waves, just melee the zombies with baseball bats, crowbars, or your fists; remember that you can get easy hits on the undead when they're knocked down or eating a body.
Stay in the main courtyard and just run around it, taking time to melee a stray zombie or two. You can easily outpace any zombie in the game.
When the burning zombies show up let them chase you; they'll often ignite other zombies as well as the small exploding ones. If you run near a fire a pursuing zombie will often walk close enough to the flames to catch ablaze.
If you see a stray normal zombie, melee it down and there's a good chance a burning zombie will ignite it when it goes by. Or you can just stomp the fallen zombie to death, provided no upright zombies are near you.
Ignore the big zombies until the very end (Wave 6); the minigun will make quick work of them.
Keep using the same pattern described above for the final wave, until only a handful of zombies are left; then proceed to mop up any stragglers with all that ammo you've been hoarding.
After beating Zombie Uprising you'll get the achievement in addition to a zombie mask for your character to wear.
You can play the Zombie Uprising game on your TV in the Red Light Loft crib, which you unlock after completing the prologue. Zombies will come at you in waves, and you must clear out 6 waves (345 zombies) to beat the game. You have a limited amount of weaponry and food, which will spawn differently every game, so play wisely. This is easier in co-op, though it's very manageable by yourself.
WAVE ONE
At the start of the game, quickly circle the map and try to pick up all the weapons and food you can. If you go up the stairs that are across the map from you, DO NOT advance out of the map, as you will instantly fail. The game will warn you as you are about to do this. Make sure you find pick up frags, as they will be your best friend later. Once you've picked up a melee weapon, a pistol, SMG, shotgun, and assault rifle, you're ready to get started. Use your melee weapon to kill the first 10 enemies.
WAVE TWO
Your melee weapon will break soon, so find another and resume attacking. Your NPC allies will begin to die, but do not revive them. They're pratically useless, and food is way too precious to waste on them. Clear out 30 zombies total to advance.
WAVE THREE
And now it's time for flaming zombies. If you know what you're doing, being set on fire should be the only real problem the game will present you with. Melee attacks on them are useless, as you will be set on fire. Kill a few more zombies with your melee weapon until the first flaming zombie shows up. If you have a co-op partner, regroup with him now. Switch to your pistol and click to enter precision aim. If you have a partner, stand back-to-back with him to eliminate all of your blind spots. Conserving ammo, carefully headshot as many zombies as you can. The zombies without an intact head can obviously not be headshot-ed, so just shoot them several times in the waist. Increase your death toll to 70 to continue.
WAVE FOUR
Make your way to the base of the staircase. To the right of the stairs is what looks like the remains of a fountain. Go inside the pool area (by a big support collumn) and jump up the first few levels. You should end up on a platform about 6 feet off ground level, and completely out of the reach of zombies. Slowly and carefully pick off the zombies. You will eventually run out of pistol ammo, so do the same thing with your assault rifle until another 65 zombies have died to increase your kill total to 135.
WAVE FIVE
At this point, your job should be very simple. No zombie can hurt you, so use the rest of your assault rifle ammo to increase your kill count to 225 and advance to the sixth and final wave.
WAVE SIX
And now you're down to the wire. Killing another 120 zombies means victory. You should shortly run out of assault rifle ammo, leaving you with a shotgun, SMG, and possibly a half-used melee weapon. The last of your teammates will die soon, so it's up to you to do all of the killing. Patience is a virtue here, let all of the zombies get within range of your shotgun so you can kill every one with one shot apiece. After you use up your shotgun, do the same with your SMG. You should run dry with about 75 zombies left. Use whatever else you may have picked up, then equip your melee weapon, make sure the coast is clear, and dash back to the point where you spawned. Kill any zombie you can safely kill, but watch out for the flaming ones. Keep circling the map, wasting all the zombies you can, and eventually a handful of zombies will set themselves on fire and die chasing you. Keep in mind you can always go back to the safe zone by the stairs to re-assess your situation. Keep circling and killing until the zombies are all gone and achievement unlocked.
