How to unlock the Still Addicted to tha Row achievement in Saints Row 2 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is "Still Addicted to tha Row"

Simply play the game for 50 hours to get it. An easy way to do this is to hook up a wired controller and sit in a corner for a couple days. Or, you could just play the game for 50 hours.

If you're going for all the other achievements, after that you should only need three or four hours of game sitting.

For those still hunting for this achievement, you do not HAVE to have 50 hours played in a single game file. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure what counts for this achievement, but all I can do is give the scenario for myself.
I played this game ages ago and beat the game in single player and gathering all the collectibles maybe 25 hours. Years later, I do the co-op with minimal collectible ~15 hours. On the Xbox One, we can't idle controller even if its wired so I revert back to my 360. That save file however has now become unable to be backwards compatible. "Missing downloadable content"? Needless to say, I give up on that save file and plan on 2-4 days of idle 360 to get the 50 hours on 1 save file. Start new game, in the starting clinic where you kill the doctor, kill doctor, sit in corner. 10 hours later, no achievement. 25 hours total later, somehow achievement unlocked at some point in the night. So, no rhyme or reason, achievement is done. Yay.
Playthrough 1: 25 hours
Playthrough 2: 15 hours
Idling 1: 10 hours
Idling 2: 15 hours
Total time playing/idling: 65 hours

The best way to do this achievment is to simply play through the game itself. You will net about 30 hours for that, plus however more if you try and get the other achievments (all the tags, all the CDs etc.)

After that, you can just leave it on for the few hours you have left.

Note that "Still Addicted to the Row" is unlocked for havinng 50 hours of single or co-op play. playing multiplayer strong armed, for example, does not go towards this achievment.

Its a shame it doesn't combine both single-player and co-op together.

You don't have to worry about this one if you are trying to get all the co-op and/or activitiy achievements as you will most likely spend way more hours to complete them

Remember. Strong Arm & (Team)Gangsta matches DOES NOT count towards this achievement

Simply put 50 hours on the ingame clock. You will easily do this as you go for the other singleplayer achievements. If you get everything else before 50 hours somehow, just load the game up, go to a crib or somewhere you know you won't be killed, and leave.
