Make sure you do this at the start of the game as the Fire Proof upgrade will make this impossible

Now, once you are within Hell head to anywhere in the city where there should be water, as in around the islands and you will find lava instead of water. Simply jump into the lava and Johnny/Kinzie will begin to walk on the lava and their health is rapidly depleted, after about 15 seconds they will die (Assuming you have full health) and you'll fall into the lava and die and the achievement will be yours.

The Soft Shoe achievement in Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell worth 17 pointsStay in contact with the lava for 10 seconds without dying

Still a thumbs up from me, but they probably patched this. I did this as my final achievement of the game, with everything purchased (including Fire Proof), and I still died in lava. It took about 45 seconds before I finally died, so it does give you super fire resistance, but it still works at the end.

I've jumped in the lava and died 3 times now and it still hasn't unlocked for me.

As soon as you arrive in Hell, simply jump into the lava surrounding you and walk around in it until you die. If you last at least 10 seconds before dying, you will also net:

Earned simply for standing in lava until you die. This can be done anywhere where there is lava, simply walk into it or land on it and stand on it until you die to earn the trophy.
