How to unlock the Soul Drain achievement in Saints Row: Gat out of Hell - Definitive Guide

There are a total of 940 clusters to be found in the game. Once you reach level 15 you can unlock an ability to show collectibles on the map.

There are two types of clusters: Blue which you can simply pick up and purple which require you to collect a string a mini clusters which award you with 10 clusters total.

Edit: Der1cho states you can press down on the d-pad with the map screen open to show clusters you are missing. It is possible that another icon may be obscuring a cluster. Taking away all icons except missing clusters/collectibles will help this.

I have 939/940 clusters, and I have the collectible finder. The last cluster is not showing up on my map, or my mini map. I have looked everywhere….Some people have reported that a cluster underneath the lower bridge connecting downtown and the Forge is missable, but I went there and it seems I have that one already. I just need one last cluster. Please help!

You can see when on the map where any missed clusters are by pressing down on the d pad to collectibles and it will show them, by default "all" is selected.

I had one left in New Hades but was hidden under a Survival icon.

Hey I found it! It was in New Hades, in the Murmurs Tomb district. For some reason, this one wouldn't show up on the main map or mini map. It's behind a giant pillar. I hope this helps!!! :)

Finally found it.....under bridge between Avernus and Smoke Pass. It blended good with the lava, so it was hard to see! Did not appear on mini map either
Thanks all

Thanks acedawg4, my missing cluster was also in the same place. It was hard to see on the map screen, and didn't appear at all in my minimap.

the last 5 were not showing up on the map for me but i tried again today and there was 1 showing on the map, i got the last 1 which for some reason counted as 5 orbs which was really weird, it was on the outside of the purple area on the bottom right high up on a floating platform.

not sure why 1 orb counted as 5 but at least it's done.

I just had trouble finding my last cluster (after trying many other suggestions) as it was hidden behind a commentary icon.

It was located in New Hades Downtown in the top right of the Rebellion Square area.

There is an elevated ledge a little way above the road which has a commentary node right underneath a cluster meaning it's easy to miss.

My advice if you are really struggling would be to collected all of the commentary and totems as you go as sometimes the cluster can be hidden from view on the map.

Hi guys, i had the same problem as you. I just found my last cluster from bottom bridge left side of Avernus right side of Lucres Pyre. I literally searched all new hades but couldnt found. Cuz all regions had zero collectibles left. Then i decided to look all the bridges cuz it doesn't count as a region. Then i found it from like i said under the bridge. I hope it will help

/This achievement glitched for me. I had ALL clusters and all other collectibles. 1067/1067.
I have searched the net on how to fix this but no solution. I have searched for days!
Then someone said that joining a coop game might fix this. For some reason, the other guy couldn't join my session so I was like, let's try a complete new game. I started a new game, picked up some clusters, no achievement :(
I then quit back to the game menu and it popped!! smile

Hello everyone. If you are stuck with one last soul cluster remaining, there is a tricky little thing you can do. In the map it shows that there are 1067 collectibles. If you point the cursor on each of the districts/regions of the map, it will show that certain district/region collectibles.

For example, my last soul cluster was in the Barrens (Blackbeard area)
Why? Because I pointed my cursor on Barrens and it showed that I have 97/98 collectibles there. So I searched the Barrens and found it in a couple of minutes. Do the same thing for all the regions until you know in which one you are missing one last collectible. This wont solve the problem, but it will give you an area of where to search :)

Hope this helps a little.

I wrote this guide for the 360 version. Checking the guides for the One version, they're awful. So I'm copy and pasting my solution here. I don't remember the two versions being any different. If there is a difference and the solution needs tweaking, leave me a comment. Thanks!

When you reach level 15, an ability called 'collectible finder' will become available for purchase. This will reveal all the collectibles on your minimap.

This ability ALSO works on the map you can bring up with the cn_back button, but its sort of hidden. Go to the map screen, and press cn_down 4 times. This will reveal all the uncollected items as well as allow you to set a waypoint on them.

I recommend collecting everything as soon as you are able for the simple fact this completes challenges worth lots of XP and money that can be used to make the tougher events very easy.

there are 2 types of soul clusters:

blue orb: basic collectible worth 1 cluster

purple orb with a yellow spike: this orb will turn into a trail of 4 to 5 more orbs once collected. If you don't collect them fast enough, the orb will reset and you must try again. The yellow spike serves as an arrow indicating what direction the trail of orbs will appear

There are people claiming at least 1 soul cluster 'does not appear on the map'. If this is the case, you can narrow down your search by moving the cursor over each region. This will tell you how many you've found out of the total. Don't be confused, the data shown only shows info for the 6 or so generic regions of New Hades and not the individual smaller subdivisions that get hilighted.

Do not be a dummy like me and spend several hours canvasing the entire map for the few collectibles you have not found!

This trophy is earned for finding every soul cluster in the game, of which there are 940 and are all required for the trophy Fell from Heaven. If you want to work on collecting some of these before finishing the story to upgrade your powers you can, but you shouldn't start to really work on finding all of the clusters until you have reached level 15 and purchase the Collectible Finder upgrade. With this all clusters show up on your minimap as blue rough diamond shapes, so you will need to fly around the map to find all of them. You should work on getting all Tomes and Commentaries as well when you are working on finding these, as there isn't a separate counter for each type of collectible in each region on the world map. If you press while viewing the world map it will also show the locations of clusters and other collectibles, so you can mark them with your GPS to find them.

Note about Soul Clusters in Co op: While playing in co op if one player collects a Cluster that neither player have it will count as collected for both players, regardless of how far away they are from each other when it is collected. (Thank you to sum1_worsethan_u for finding this out.)

Wait until you're level 15 to do this or any other collectible achievement or challenge. Since once you hit level 15 you will gain access to an in-game collectible map which costs $10,000.

There is one soul cluster that doesn't always appear properly. It's under the southern bridge between the Forge and Downtown. It's right around here somewhere:

You can buy an improvement that opens collectibles on the map, and then put a special filter on the map and calmly collect it.

Upon reaching level 15, you can buy an upgrade that allows you to see all collected objects. To do this, open the map and press down on the cross to the exhibits section. Then we calmly collect all the blocks of souls.

The trophy is not buggy, it’s just that 6 souls were not displayed on the map, I found mine in the Slums-Kolova Gardens, in the castle!
