How to unlock the The Devil's Dues achievement in Saints Row: Gat out of Hell - Definitive Guide

Very Easy and self explanatory.
Walk up to one of the Gun Vending machine and continue upgradeing until you get the achievement. Will cost a good bit of money, so do activities and missions for the money.

I just fully upgraded 2 weapons. The challenge even says 2/20. No achievement at all. Glitch?

I got it after a hard reset and upgrading my third weapon. HA!

This trophy is awarded for purchasing all upgrades for one of the 20 weapons in the game. You will get this for sure while working on The King of Hell, as there is a challenge for upgrading all 20 of the game’s weapons.

Each upgrade goes 100, 6250, 7500, 8750, 10000. With ultimate being 20k.

The cheapest wespons to full upgrade are the melee weapons such as God's Hammer or the Omega Omega Omega. As they only need 1 set of 5 upgrades, and the ultimate upgrade. As opposed to guns, which need several sets of 5 and an ultimate upgrade.

Weapon upgrades can be purchased at any store. Complete modernization of all weapons is one of the tests. You will receive the achievement for purchasing all upgrades for one (any of your choice) of the 20 types of weapons in the game.
I highly recommend that you first buy the “Diamond Sting” SMG and fully upgrade it, because it is with this barrel (+ the upgraded “greed” ability) that you will farm currency in the future, which will be spent on upgrading all other weapons.
