How to unlock the Maximum Stopping Power achievement in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected - Definitive Guide

To upgrade a weapon go to any Friendly Fire and open the 'Buy/Upgrade Weapons' menu.

You have two choices for this, you can either find the secret 'Tiny Pistol' weapon at the South 'Lets Pretend' clothing store and upgrade it since it has only one slot to upgrade (Recharge Rate) or you can buy the Baseball Bat for $100 which costs $42,600 to full upgrade and is probably the cheapest method.

If you wish you can save just before doing this, upgrade your weapon, quit and then reload to keep your money for other things.

Here's a video by TheReviewDemon showing you where the secret 'Tiny Pistol' is.

For this you will need to fully upgrade any weapon. So go to any friendly fire and choose one of your weapons and fully upgrade it. The baseball bat is the cheapest to do as it will only cost you a total of $42,600 to fully upgrade it and when you've done that the achievement will pop :)

The cheapest way to obtain this achievement is to fully upgrade the damage to a baseball bat and then purchase the added ability for it "MMM, giblets."

Upgrade costs for standard guns/melee weapons:
Level 1: $100
Level 2: $6,250
Level 3: $7,500
Level 4: $8,750
Level 5: $10,000

Which comes out to: $52,600

To upgrade a weapon, simply go into any Friendly Fire store and choose the "Upgrade weapon" option. In here, simply go to any weapon, and then select it to upgrade that weapon. There are 5 nodes to buy on each of the primary upgrades, then one upgrade at the very bottom. This upgrade for example is weapon specific; for the pistol it's Explosive Rounds. Simply upgrade all of the nodes on a single weapon and the trophy will unlock. You'll need 100,000+ depending on the weapon of choice. It's advised to upgrade one you'll use or you can just save beforehand then reload.
