How to unlock the Pounding the Pavement achievement in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected - Definitive Guide

You will no doubt kill a few aliens over the course of the game but will likely need to grind the remainder.

An easy place to grind is within a Hard difficulty Super Powered Fightclub activity, there is one in the centre of the map (Shown in the video) start the activity and complete the first wave.

Now you'll start the second wave which is King Of The Hill, ignore the hill and instead stand on an open flat area. Several men with bats will continuously come for you and agro to you now which is perfect as these still count as aliens. Make sure you have the Stomp super power selected with cn_right and then press cn_RB to stomp the ground, hopefully they will die from the impact/colliding with a wall as they are low level aliens. (You may need to jump before Stomping else them hitting you will interrupt your attack)

You have plenty of time on the counter to get all 150 but if you happen to fail make sure you EXIT the activity to start over else your kills will not count for your challenges (Though the achievement tracker will keep progress)

Excellent farming spot, thank you so much. Got Super Stomp, Death from Above and the last 200 kills for I Am Become Death achievements in like 5 minutes.

You should also mention to choose the Rock variation of Super Stomp as well.

FYI for anyone else who like me thought their achievement was glitched.. I was trying to grind this at the same time as 'Zoo Keeper', but it was stuck at 50%.

It seems that the fight club method worked perfectly but ground pounding normal aliens outside of the activity wasn't recognising any additional kills for me.

I was kicking ass all over Steelport with the Explosion Element activated and it wasn’t registering, Rock element works tho.

Anyone else had these just completely stop tracking?

I'm unable to unlock "I Am Become Death", "Pounding The Pavement", "Bringing The Heat" at least.

Mine seem to track but not complete. Pounding the Pavement got up to 140/150 and then I got I Am Become Death up at least 10 but never saw PtP complete, nor did it unlock for me.

I have the same issue as Assyrian Duke. Got the 140/150, but my Xbox tracker only shows 4%, and no other alien kills are adding to it.

Edit: Going to my profile page on my laptop suddenly popped it, so maybe that's the go-to solution for stubborn achievements. So stupid.

Also, slight addendum to the solution.

If you're doing this at the end of the game after you've pretty much done everything else, I recommend jumping into the air, and holding cn_LT for 'Death From Above'. When your stomp has recharged, release cn_LT and press cn_RB to Super Stomp. Whilst you're waiting for the stomp to recharge, 4-5+ enemies will wait for you beneath you. Repeat this for easy kills.

See "I Am Become Death" for a good place to grind this achievement.

You equip stomp by tapping I recommend only using the rock element when grinding this out as the other other stomps don't kill the enemy just leaves them stuck mid air or shrunken. This ability is the most effective against large groups of enemies.

The Stomp Super Power is the third attack you gain, which is selected with . As the name suggests, this stomps the ground either from on the ground or in midair using , damaging the Aliens around it. However, this is rarely lethal on undamaged Aliens, so you'll either need to Stomp more than once, which can be a pain, or damage the enemies first. Finish off 150 aliens using this to get the trophy.

A very good way to grind this is to load up a virus upload activity that has Genkis instead of Aliens. The best one is in one of Pierce's side quests, you need to kill 101 enemies. These enemies will die in one hit from any super power, so you can get close to the allocated amount of kills then leave the area so it resets the activity. Once the timer hits zero, run back and start the activity again. Another method if you've done this is the hard fight club. The second wave is a king of the hill, just stay out of the area and kill the weak enemies that will flock to you. If you have Enter the Dominatrix, you can also grind kills on the second mission of it. You'll be attacked frequently two cars at a time.
