How to unlock the First of Many achievement in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected - Definitive Guide

Right after you finish the mission where you buy guns and go to Kinzie's empty warehouse you should have enough money and experience to afford an upgrade.
You can enter the upgrade menu by pressing cn_back and choosing upgrades.

Thats weird, I'll try it in a second........its weird because I guess the one upgrade you are forced to buy in the beginning of the game don't count........

Edit: Opps, wrong upgrade...this had to do with player upgrade, not gun upgrade, lol

You can get this trophy pretty much from the get go when you arrive in Virtual Steelport. Press to access your hub, then go to upgrades. Purchase any upgrade and the trophy will unlock.
