How to unlock the Fist Meet Ground achievement in Saints Row IV - Definitive Guide

The endgame solution does work, but the masses of aliens attacking you makes this awkward.
For an easier time, head to the hard level of superpower fight club. Beat the first round so you are on the king of the hill round. DO NOT CAPTURE THE HILL. Stand in a large open space and you will be swarmed by enemies. Super-jump, and hold LT to hover, then aim and ice blast at the ground before doing your DFA, this will kill all enemies in 1 hit. The screen will say "shatter kill" but it still counts.

*IMPORTANT NOTE*
If you just want the achievement then you can fail the activity. But if you want the kills to count towards a challenge you must FINISH THE ACTIVITY with at least a bronze medal.
*UPDATE* According to Bennios you can still get credit towards the challenge when failing with no medal, but you must exit the activity. If you fail and choose "retry" none of the kills will count towards your challenge.
This strategy works for any superpower kills.

This works beautifully. I also fully recommend it for "I Am Become Death" as you can amass kills so quickly using this.

It does work great for that, but if you finish all the activities and challenges using your powers a lot you should have no problem getting this before the end of the game.
Again, just need to make sure to finish the activity to make sure the kills count towards "I am become death".

great guide! just one thing you should add: the kills count for the challenge if you let the clock run down and fail the activity, but only if you press EXIT ACTIVITY not RETRY ACTIVITY, you don't need to get a bronze medal.

Death From Above is unlocked very late into the game

A Death From Above kill is achieved by holding cn_LT whilst in the air which brings up a reticule on the floor to aim using the cn_RS you can them press cn_RT and your character will dive into the ground damaging anything below it.

There are a few ways to grind this out but im going to assume that you have completed the story for the bulk of my solution but it is worth mentioning that there is apparently an exploit of sorts for the final mission where...

Firstly you'll want to find a Hard difficulty Super Powered Fightclub activity, there is one in the centre of the map (Shown in the video) start the activity and complete the first wave.

Now you'll start the second wave which is King Of The Hill, ignore the hill and instead stand on an open flat area. Several menu with bats will continuously come for you and agro to you now which is perfect as these still count as aliens. Jump in the air cn_A and hold cn_LT now if you havnt already equip your freeze blast cn_left and wait until there are 5-7 enemies and blast them with your freeze blast cn_RB then whilst they are froze press cn_RT to perform a Death From Above attack. The kills will come up as shatter kills for the freeze blast BUT they will count for your Death From Above kills.

You have plenty of time on the counter to get all 100 but if you happen to fail make sure you EXIT the activity to start over else your kills will not count for your challenges.

Here's a video.

Thanks for explaining how to perform a Death From Above kill as none of the other solutions do, and for pointing out you need to unlock the super power first. I haven't unlocked it yet, so at least I know I just need to keep playing.

I'm playing it now and after a few minutes there are no aliens, just the Terminator-like robots.

Death From Above is one of the last Super Powers you earn. Unlike the other Super Power attacks, this can be used anytime after you unlock it and does not need to be switched to. This is also very similar to the Stomp Super Power. To use this, you jump in mid-air and hold . Then you can aim where to attack, so aim at an enemy or a group, then press . You'll smash into the ground and cause damage to them. The main problem with this is that it may take more than one of these to kill an enemy off, so it is best to weaken it first. After killing 100 enemies with this power, you'll get the trophy.

A very good way to grind this is to load up a virus upload activity that has Genkis instead of Aliens. The best one is in one of Pierce's side quests, you need to kill 101 enemies. These enemies will die in one hit from any super power so you can get close to the allocated amount of kills, then leave the area so it resets the activity. Once the timer hits zero, run back and start the activity again. Another method if you've done this is the hard fight club. The second wave is a king of the hill, just stay out of the area and kill the weak enemies that will flock to you.
