How to unlock the The American Dream achievement in Saints Row: The Third Remastered - Definitive Guide
Simply take 10 different vehicles into a Rim Jobs, and customise them in any way. Anything will do; something as simple as changing the paint job will count as one customisation

Pick up any vehicle and drive to a ‘Rim job’ garage (Green icon with a wrench). When inside, press to start customizing your car. You can either pimp out 10 vehicles to your liking, or add/change a 1 part of the car.
The cheapest and fastest way to do this is by going to a Rim job, go inside and press . Select colors, body colors and hit to select a color. Buy it and leave the garage. There are plenty cars outside. This will only cost $50 per car, so a total of $450. (If you don’t count the first car you had to customize at the beginning of the game.) Also, there’s a challenge that requires you to spend $20.000 on customizing vehicles, so you might want to heavily pimp your vehicles and/or don’t reload your save. You can always keep this challenge as one of the last if you would like.
Also, try not to hit any civilians. If there’s a cop nearby, you won’t be able to customize your car because of your notoriety. If you happen to get notorious, simply drive until you lose the small shield in the bottom left corner. Or, if you own the Rim Jobs, leave the car and enter the shop to get rid of the notoriety.

You can customize nearly all the vehicles the game at Rim Jobs. Park the car in the Garage and push . Change the color of the vehicle and save it. Leave Rim Jobs, hijack a vehicle close by, and repeat. Each vehicle that you customize must be different. When you enter the car a pop up will appear that says what kind of car you are driving.

The trophy is simple, as soon as you get the opportunity to tune your car, pump up 10 cars and the trophy is yours.

I will add that the cars need to be pumped externally, engines, frame reinforcements, nitrogen, etc. It doesn't matter at all.

All modified cars are counted, even if they are in different saves or you deleted them from the garage. they are all taken into account and stored in statistics)))

You just need to change the body color and that’s it.
